This time, I brought Fischl from the Azur Lane collaboration to the camera for a Genshin Impact cosplay session, with the entire shoot revolving around the pride and elegance of the otherworldly Prinzessin. The outfit features patchwork tailoring, where the white, blue, and purple color-blocking combined with metal buckle decorations brings the character illustration to life in three dimensions. The wig was trimmed in layers so that its length and curvature perfectly accommodate wearing the hat, and the colored contact lenses were specially chosen in a light shade to fit the character setting. As for props, the blue gemstone and butterfly at the tip of the staff were custom-made. The butterfly wings reveal a delicate, thin texture under side lighting, and I deliberately chose a few angles during snapshots to let the light shine through. During the shoot, I tried using picture frames and sheer curtains to construct a three-dimensional space. When posing to reach out and touch the butterfly, the fabric of the long sleeves draped down naturally, enhancing the character's mysterious sense of control. For the set design, a large area of white tulle and purple floral arrangements were used. The cool-toned lighting combined with minor cosplay post-processing adjustments to the saturation made the colors across the entire set more unified. The laces on the boots and the clothing details were adjusted one by one. To maintain the fluffiness of the skirt, several layers of petticoats were added inside so that it looked beautiful when shooting standing up. The brim of the hat has a slight upward curve, so it won't flatten the hair on top of my head when worn. This allows the wig to form a natural transition with the facial contours through the bangs, making the overall look closer to the character's sharp personality. There were two ways of holding the staff for the shoot: one was raising it high to look spirited, and the other was leaning it slightly to make the overall vibe more elegant. When unifying the tones during post-processing, a portion of the skin texture was preserved to avoid over-retouching the facial features, giving the photos a realistic, breathing feel. With every aspect polished from the wig to the staff, the final work captures the character's temperament quite accurately, making it a perfect piece for cosplay outfit sharing.
