Throughout these five days at Gamescom, waking up each morning as the Rabbit Knight in the world of Silver Palace gave me an immersive sensation that words can hardly capture. Standing on the show stage in this costume, the physical weight of the gear was immediately noticeable—especially the golden fringe on the pauldrons and the intricate metallic armor pieces around the waist and hips. Striking and holding each pose required continuous core engagement to remain steady. The prop lance looked agile, yet its balance point leaned noticeably toward the back; to project natural dynamic tension before the lens, I spent off-stage breaks recalibrating my grip and leverage. The battle-ready stance showcased in the final frames—with skirts billowing outward and weight shifted back—achieved exactly what I had envisioned.
Across these four convention shots, both my facial expressions and body language stayed quite relaxed, reflecting the Rabbit Knight's naturally confident and spirited charm. The open cutout tailoring and expansive white panelling easily lose definition under harsh convention hall illumination, demanding pinpoint lighting precision. Fortunately, the photographer was exceptional, framing the waist contours and leg lines with flattering elegance. The black over-the-knee high-heeled boots offered a striking chromatic contrast against the predominant white costume, and when in motion, the blue hems and white fleece trim of the skirt flared in sync, allowing the candid dynamic captures to look effortlessly natural.
What surprised and touched me most was having custom visual effects added for the first time. In previous stage shoots, frames were often constrained by messy backgrounds and uncontrollable ambient light; adding post-production shattered ice and floating crystal shards elevated the compositional depth to a whole new plane. Seeing those crystalline ice shards suspended in midair instantly brought the crisp, formidable world-building of Silver Palace into vivid dimension. I am genuinely grateful to the photographer for their endless patience and masterclass retouching, freezing such vibrant moments amidst the bustle of the venue.
The schedule across these five days at the expo was packed solid: maintaining peak energy on stage to interact with the audience, while managing wardrobe touch-ups and makeup checks off-stage certainly drained considerable stamina. Yet every time I looked at the finished convention photos and saw how completely I embodied Kurati, every drop of fatigue felt deeply validated. Weaving through the show floor with those signature rabbit ears and welcoming photo requests was a priceless character journey. The memories forged over five days in the Silver Palace have been preserved with love in these photographs.
