A great deal of effort went into the costume details for this Zenless Zone Zero Remielle cosplay. To achieve an airy, lightweight feel, specific feather materials were selected for the wings, with reinforced structural support added at the back so they wouldn't obstruct frontal posing. The wig was trimmed into a precise short cut, paired with a silver cross-star hair ornament and pink contact lenses to faithfully recreate the canon visual design. Eye makeup focused on winged outer corners and soft reddish-pink blending to match the character's eye shape, while styling the front bangs and white under-layers also took considerable time.

During the shoot, we leveraged wide-angle lens perspective with a high-angle downward shot; combined with a forward-leaning posture, this angle beautifully highlighted the costume's strapping details and chest silhouette. The White stockings along the legs and feet were also rendered crisply, with their natural sheen and fabric texture showing excellent quality in the raw photos.

Preparation for wardrobe and props was extensive, including elements like the blue-and-white ribbon tie and translucent sleeve covers that added dimensional depth to the ensemble. The photo shared here is a completely raw shot without post-processing effects or graphics, which actually heightens the character's poised aura and delicate craft. We conducted lighting tests prior to shooting, utilizing cool rim lights from the side to define the wing contours and soft frontal fill to preserve translucent skin tones.

Since this was a solo session, I am looking for a partner within the Hangzhou cosplay community to collaborate on the Black & White Remi duo concept. Portraying the duo requires synchronized makeup and positioning, as well as precise balance between lighting and shadows across contrasting palettes, demanding close communication. Dynamic partner interactions create compelling visual tension and make the workflow much more efficient. Finding a matching partner in Hangzhou cosplay circles can be challenging, but I hope interested cosplayers will reach out. Sessions would ideally be scheduled on weekends with proper lighting and studio setups.

Two days prior to shooting, I did a full makeup test to confirm wig trimming lines and wing harness placement. The wide-angle perspective complemented the forward-leaning stance, with hand placements adjusted repeatedly to avoid blocking the face. Because the White stockings reflect light easily, lighting angles were carefully controlled to guide highlights along leg contours—insights that will prove valuable for future Black & White Remi shoots.

For makeup, eyeliner was drawn slightly bolder to balance the large-diameter pink contacts. Eyeshadow transitions were kept clean and crisp to avoid muddiness. The eyebrows were styled fairly straight to complement the youthful look, paired with a soft pink lip color that echoed the wig. The hair ornament was secured at a precise angle to flatter the face shape, allowing easy adjustments if needed. The White stockings feature a subtle texture that flatters leg lines, and I was thoroughly pleased with the final styling.

Because the studio featured vertical stripe backdrops, we deliberately opted for cool ambient tones that contrasted sharply with the character, making the pink hair and white costume pop vividly. Testing autofocus beforehand revealed great perspective rendering, and pairing the lens with a full-frame sensor maintained edge sharpness without distorting the subject. Minimal color adjustments were made in post without messy overlays, as the clean, translucent clarity of raw Girl photography best represents this character.

Regarding the Black & White Remi collaboration, I've outlined several narrative concepts and poses, hoping to connect with fellow enthusiasts in Hangzhou. We can discuss character interpretations beforehand to ensure the final photos stay true to the original work. The goal is to produce quality pieces in Hangzhou, pre-planning sets and lighting setups for a dual-character shoot. These uncropped raw photos preserve the authentic shooting state to showcase the genuine craftsmanship and wear of this costume, and I look forward to finding the right partner to create captivating collaborative work.
