Today I cosplayed Remielle (Remilia). The pink bob wig was slightly on the longer side when it arrived, so I hand-trimmed the blunt bangs and face-framing layers to make the silhouette hug the head naturally, achieving a fluffy yet crisp finish. The strands were treated with a matte setting spray to prevent artificial shine under camera lights. The silver four-pointed star clip on the upper left and the bow accent on the right served as essential finishing touches; they had to be pinned slightly toward the back to create the most flattering side-angle accents on camera.

For makeup, the violet contact lenses were the soul of the look. To harmonize with such saturated eye color, the eyeshadow incorporated matching pink-purple blending, with outer corners deepened with a hint of reddish-brown. Paired with dramatic yet sharply defined upper and lower false lashes, the eye contour appeared doubled in size. Blush was swept higher on the cheek apples with a tiny dusting across the nose tip to cultivate a porcelain, translucent skin texture, finished with a luminous watermelon-red lip tint to keep the overall face clean and radiant.

The wardrobe details also took substantial effort. The white high-collar piece around the neck isn't merely a plain choker—its material carries a faint pearlescent sheen that casts micro-shimmers under illumination. The central metallic star pendant and chains were attached as modular pieces, creating a fusion of sci-fi aesthetics and techwear functionality when combined with the straps below. The off-white corset section features metal eyelets and drawstrings, requiring tight cinching against the waist to sculpt clean body proportions. Clear shoulder straps had to be tucked away carefully to preserve the authentic silhouette of the outfit before the lens. While this gear looks sparse on accessories at a glance, putting it on takes patience—especially securing the rear lacing and metal buckles, which could easily look sloppy if misaligned.

The shooting location was simply the storage room, with cardboard boxes on the left and clothing racks and mannequins on the right. To keep the framing tidy, I hunted for angles that dodged clutter, mounting my phone right in front for an Anime style selfie. Lighting relied primarily on the overhead white ceiling lamp supplemented by the phone's front-facing fill, slightly lowering the exposure to render skin textures softer. The color grading involved minimal adjustments, preserving the striking contrast between porcelain skin and pink hair. Throughout the selfie session, I tested various angles—from direct eye contact to looking downward—eventually finding that tilting the head subtly while tucking the chin best highlighted the eye makeup and neck choker accents while chiseling facial contours.

In truth, what I enjoy most about every cosplay is the preparation stage: from opening packages and trying garments on to refining details bit by bit, through to finally presenting it before the camera. Although selfies may lack the precision of a professional photographer, personally documenting a look brought together with genuine care delivers a unique sense of fulfillment. This ensemble appears light and breezy, but practical assembly demands meticulous patience, especially with buckles and straps that easily shift out of line. Today's selfie log serves as a neat summary of my hands-on styling, and I look forward to experimenting with more new pairings and silhouettes ahead.
