So gnawing on a flatbread doesn't break character at all; rather, it adds a hilarious sense of making bricks without straw. If you ask me, the real Boss Nicole, when caught eating plain bread and teased by other Proxies, would definitely clutch her meager operating funds, pretend not to care on the surface, and secretly pray for fortune behind their backs.

Since I chose to cosplay Nicole, plenty of effort naturally went into the hair. The bright pink top paired with oversized bright yellow ribbons and bows, combined with the royal blue top, made for instant recognition on the convention floor. Every time I passed a booth, friends complimented how lovely and accurate the pink shade was—little did they know the toll the heavy wig and the two massive yellow ribbon accessories took on my neck and shoulders. This kind of self-entertaining roleplay brings immense emotional value to the exhausting grind of convention travel. Navigating through massive exhibition halls in heavy gear, sharing knowing smirks with fellow fans who get the meme, or having friends snap goofy, unhinged candid shots makes the happiness genuine and fulfilling. Instead of rigidly replicating a static still, I'm trying to bring the character to life within our shared real-world context.

In the end, I didn't even finish the whole bread right away; wrapped in plastic film in my arms, it ended up functioning as a makeshift hand warmer. This slightly absurd convention daily life represents my most honest reflection as an amateur yet dedicated cosplayer on every outing. Fans love seeing Nicole from Zenless Zone Zero shine effortlessly, and bringing some laughs and memes to everyone offline is a wonderful little way to bridge parallel worlds.
