Wearing a look equipped with extensive metallic ornaments and plush animal ears takes quite a while to put on. Specifically, the long, furry tail at the back required an internal support armature to hold a natural drooping curve, tightly anchored by a belt; by the end of the day, my lower back felt noticeably sore. To convey the character's casual yet assertive gaze, the neck and back muscles had to remain tensed whenever turning around.

I wore a layered blonde wavy wig that caught the rim lighting gorgeously in backlit conditions. Bare legs paired with lace-up high heels proved challenging as well: not only did I need to maintain an upright stance, but I also had to keep the instep flexed from time to time, using ground reflections to make the leg lines appear sleeker. Convention floor tiles are very hard and place heavy pressure on the balls of the feet, so adding cushioned insoles beforehand was a useful trick I've learned over time.

In fact, the outfit shows quite a bit of skin, especially around the waist and legs, placing high demands on posture—requiring a constant core brace and a straight back. With huge crowds at the venue, finding a relatively clean background was tough. The photographer had me stand in profile and turn back; this low-angle shot tested bodily coordination, needing a shifted-back center of gravity while maintaining steadiness. Light angled down from above illuminated the edges of my hair and tail, giving an authentic quality superior to artificial strobes. We repeatedly adjusted the skirt hem and orange streamers to freeze that fluttering dynamism.

The design elements of Genshin Impact Natlan combine wild tribal influences with bold modern aesthetics, bestowing immense presence on this Kemonomimi girl look. I opted against heavy retouching, primarily preserving the raw shot's natural texture, such as the edge glow on the blonde hair, fabric textures, and high-heel accents. We didn't seek out a private studio, making full use of the venue's natural conditions. Low-angle framing is demanding on leg tone, but regular workouts helped sustain the pose. The plush tail tended to stick up erratically, requiring repeated repositioning.

By the time we wrapped up, my lower back could barely straighten, but with such a high success rate of great shots, the effort was entirely worth it. Wearing makeup all day held up fairly well. Walking around created crisp clinking sounds from the metallic components, adding an extra layer of ambient immersion on site. Given the chance, I'd love to try this style more often—it was truly fun.
