[Remielle cosplay] The sacred angel of Zenless Zone Zero descends

Bringing out Remielle this time required immense dedication given the sheer density of garment and prop details. To faithfully capture the concept in Zenless Zone Zero—one that intertwines divine purity with battle-hardened grit—I consulted with the prop artisan three separate times on the structure of the massive white wings alone. They needed to deliver dramatic visual tension and volume before the lens while remaining light enough to allow wide-ranging motions like raising the polearm single-handedly or dropping into kneeling combat stances. For the shoot, we chose a pure white Gothic-inspired hall: sunlight spilled through arched rose windows, while white classical statues and polished marble floors cast crisp reflections, instantly establishing an immaculate yet solemn atmosphere.

On the wardrobe side, the white combat attire features a structured corset bodice and lace-up ties that test bodily contours. The lower miniskirt pairs with over-the-knee white Stockings tied with dainty bows, infusing a mature Onee-san / Mature woman charm into the sacred aura. The wig was styled as vibrant pink short hair, complemented by prosthetic elf ears. For makeup, I toned down complex color washes, directing focus toward the eye area to channel the character's detached coolness and enigmatic depth. The purple polearm weapon held in hand popped with striking vibrancy against the pure white backdrop.

During shooting, the noticeable weight of the wings made balancing challenging. Yet watching the interplay of light and shadow in the viewfinder truly evoked the feeling that 2D is real-life magic—as though that unknown realm unfolded right before my eyes. With every shutter click, I immersed myself into her composure and inner strength, exploring standing postures, single-knee drops, and weapon-raising poses to find the angle that resonated most with her persona. High-key white settings are notoriously prone to blown-out highlights, but by calibrating reflector bounce angles, we preserved every fabric crease and architectural depth.

From pre-production to the final images, the journey was demanding, yet seeing the finished frames made every ounce of effort worthwhile. I sincerely hope everyone enjoys this creation crafted with wholehearted dedication.
