[Lemuen cosplay] Dressed in a Custom Ambience Synesthesia Outfit to Attend Her Own Concert

Wearing the Ambience Synesthesia version of Lemuen cosplay and standing at the Ambience Synesthesia venue feels like magically breaking the fourth wall. From getting the costume design sketches to its final execution, we went through numerous adjustments. For the white off-shoulder gown, I selected a fabric with a subtle pearlescent sheen so it presents a soft gradient effect under stage lights. The gold trim on the collar and the black-and-gold ribbons hanging from the chest were hand-stitched piece by piece following original patterns. What required the most effort was actually the golden hand prop—its shape and angle needed to fit the head's contour perfectly, providing visual impact during photos without being too heavy or restricting head movement. Ultimately, light materials and multi-layer painting were used to achieve a matte metallic texture. The layering of the pearl necklace and placement of the star pendant were also repeatedly aligned against original illustration proportions to ensure every detail matched up.

Attending Ambience Synesthesia this time happened to coincide with the 7th-anniversary celebration. The stage production and lighting design were truly breathtaking—the dominant blue-purple palette paired with stage special effects created a comfortable visual contrast against this white-and-gold outfit. Looking down from the stands, the entire venue was packed without an empty seat, everyone immersed in the music, making every bit of preparation feel entirely worth it at that moment. Although attending a concert, to maintain full styling integrity, I chose to enter wearing the wig and full props. Since the air conditioning was strong and walking around the venue was frequent, the long white sleeve covers and wide collar actually provided adequate warmth without feeling stuffy.

Regarding makeup, I specifically emphasized the harmony between eye makeup and teardrop decorations; the transparent sparkling diamond under my left eye reflected delicate pinpricks of light under illumination, looking even more agile paired with pink short hair. To preserve the overall atmosphere, lip color was chosen in a natural nude pink to look softer and more natural in selfies. When shooting those photos at the Anime convention venue, I tried avoiding cluttered seats and screen glare in the background, finding an angle overlooking the stadium dome and parts of the audience seats. The golden hand prop served as a great frame cover and decoration during selfies, preserving iconic character elements while adding a touch of playfulness.

The photo on the outdoor footbridge behind was taken outside after the show ended; under natural light, the pink hair color looked more authentic, and the white dress fabric displayed a different sheen. However, my favorite remains the first photo taken in the indoor stands, where background blue lights and overhead spotlights framed character contours perfectly, maxing out atmospheric feel. Finally, the photo in front of the lawn display board captured a frame alongside a huge character poster behind, serving as a sweet check-in memory. Though the schedule was tight, attending the work's own concert venue in this attire brought a completely distinct experience. If there are similar events next time, I'll consider further detail upgrades—like pairing with shoes fitting character settings better or customizing plush doll outfits with matching fabrics in this Casual cosplay journey.
