[Mr. C.B. Cosplay] Unique Vibe as the Sole Mr. C.B. at the Uma Musume Only Exhibition

Yesterday's Uma Musume Only Exhibition offline meetup was truly a bursting point for energy saved up over a long time. Arriving at the event in a meticulously prepared Mr. C.B. Cosplay outfit, my biggest feeling after a full day was: though genuinely tiring, being immersed in shared passion alongside fellow fans felt utterly fulfilling.

When coordinating this look, I put extra effort into the wig and styling. The fluffy hair volume and that signature mini top hat attached with a big claw clip were actually trickier to secure than expected. To keep it from falling off in outdoor wind or indoor movement, I tested several hair-clipping methods the night before. The combination of green glossy ribbons and gold badges added a lively, breezy pop of color to the overall ensemble, while the three small silver hairpins fixed on the side of my cheek were details I personally loved.

The main outfit features a blue, white, and purple sailor collar with neatly piped edges and neckline. The dark purple bow on the chest with the large gold horseshoe decorative buckle served as the visual center of gravity for the entire look. As the only person embodying this character at the entire event, I felt quite happy, because making this choice was all about expressing my love for the character. Venue decorations featured plenty of racetrack elements and Trainer-related memes, and everyone was respectful and orderly during photos and interactions, creating a harmonious atmosphere.

Reflecting on Uma Musume cosplay experience, from makeup to wardrobe, you realize that while accuracy matters, feeling comfortable, confident, and joyful is the ultimate purpose of offline events. Handling wigs, finding selfie angles, and coordinating poses with partners are all skills honed through practice. Though walking around consumed a lot of energy, whenever someone recognized the character or complimented the detailed craftsmanship, that sense of achievement completely wiped away the exhaustion.
