This time's Rem styling experimented with a very unique Chinese-style fusion western dress. To match this outfit, the wig was trimmed to closely fit the face shape, retaining the classic long bangs covering one eye, which is one of the character's signature traits. The hair accessory featured a white lace headband adorned with light blue tassels and flowers on both sides, creating a gentle swaying motion when walking.
In terms of makeup, the focus was placed on the eyes, specially choosing blue contact lenses to echo the hair color. A pinkish tint was blended at the outer corners and under the eyes to add a touch of endearing charm. The base makeup was kept very clean, showing no oiliness even under nighttime fill lights.
I really love the costume's design. The upper body features a black high collar with Chinese frog buttons, layered over a light blue textured brocade fabric, edged with gold thread for a crisp and structured texture. The sleeves connect to wide water sleeves, which are lightweight and breathable, flowing gracefully in the night breeze. The lower body is paired with a black fluffy skirt, featuring golden geometric patterns on the front drape of the hem. Because the skirt is rather heavy, I knelt half-down on the grass and adjusted my posture several times during the shoot to achieve a perfect arc.
The prop is a semi-transparent plum blossom round fan with long tassels hanging from the handle end. When posing, attention must be paid to wrist strength—holding the fan securely while ensuring the movement doesn't look too rigid, with the gaze extending along the fan's direction. This shoot took place in an outdoor grassy area at night, utilizing cool blue ambient lighting on site, which harmonized perfectly with the overall tone, giving the photos a deeply atmospheric feel.
