In the outdoor area of Firefly ACG Expo, I completed the entire photoshoot for this Bride Rem look.

For this Bride-themed ensemble, tremendous care went into everything from styling the wig and headpieces to wearing the outfit. The ice-blue wig was trimmed with neat blunt bangs, and the short side locks gently contoured the curve of my cheeks. On top of the head, besides the iconic pink X-shaped hairpin, I specially added some silver snowflake-themed hair accessories, giving the overall styling a more lively, sparkling touch under the sunlight.

The costume features an off-the-shoulder cut paired with a white lace high collar, visually elongating the neckline. Light blue and dark blue crisscross lacing across the bust and corset was used to enhance layered depth. The sleeves are two-tiered puff sleeves which, paired with arm warmers, are wonderfully suited for convention scenarios requiring expansive motions. The skirt is a multi-tiered pleated white mini skirt, swaying with cake-skirt fluffiness when walking while keeping leg lines visible. To fit the Bride theme, it was paired with a white bridal veil and a blue-and-white bouquet accented with greenery, which nicely enriched the upper-body composition when held in hand.

The most important prop for this shoot was actually that large shimmering sheer fabric with a blue gradient. Because it was very windy at the expo that day, simply lifting the sheer veil created a very natural, flowing silhouette. I coordinated with the fluttering fabric by performing various single-leg lifts and spinning turns to capture dynamic momentum. This kind of photoshoot—balancing the costume, props, and personal footing—was quite a test of stamina, especially when gusts picked up and we had to race against time to capture the perfect split-second in our Rem cosplay.

For footwear, I chose pure white Mary Jane high heels. To enhance stability, I specially paired them with White stockings; this not only unified the overall color palette, but also kept walking across the convention grounds from feeling overly exhausting. This styling carries a strong sense of cohesive unity—the cool blue tones paired with the pure white aesthetic look remarkably refreshing under outdoor natural lighting. While shooting outside the expo venue, despite many visitors bustling around, the photographer's guidance and snapshot rhythm were in great sync, beautifully capturing Bride Rem's graceful poise intertwined with her signature spirited vitality. Being able to fully present and document such an intricately designed costume live at the expo was a truly joyful experience in these Convention photos.
