[Rem cosplay] Aqua Rem Meow-Meow, Gentle Moments of the Blue and White Palette

When doing this aqua Rem cosplay from Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World, I intentionally adopted a minimalist approach for the makeup, avoiding heavy eyeshadow and focusing on enhancing the clarity of the pupils and the natural definition of the eyelashes to bring the overall temperament closer to a cat's laziness and a young girl's softness. The wig was trimmed with fine layers, and the front bangs fell just above the eyes to avoid blocking my vision. To go with the "Meow-Meow" theme, I specifically chose a look featuring a cat-ear headband matched with lace and floral patterns, and the clothing is a blue-and-white toned Lolita outfit, with puff sleeves that beautifully accentuate the arm lines.

During the shoot, I sat on the edge of the bed, leaning slightly forward, and used diffuse light to brighten my face and the texture of the skirt hem, making the layers at the boundary between the white lace and blue fabric incredibly clear. The entire atmosphere focuses on being soft and translucent, hoping to present the gentle yet slightly playful feeling of aqua Rem. Everything from the lighting to the poses was repeatedly discussed with the photographer. Since the skirt is quite puffy, I intentionally adjusted the way the skirt hem was spread out in the sitting position to avoid looking bulky while also elongating the leg proportions. As a piece of work with distinct character traits for this Cosplay sharing, I hope to convey the character's innate quiet temperament through the lens rather than intentionally creating a strong visual impact. Just staying peacefully in the frame, much like how the aqua blue color can soothe people's hearts in Anime-style photography.
