While editing these photos, the corners of my mouth were literally curled up the entire time; the joy of doing a Tewi Inaba cosplay is probably being able to openly wear this kind of layered pink-and-white little dress and scurry around the bamboo forest with plush rabbit ears on your head. This time, I specially chose a Chinese garden and a real bamboo forest setting; dappled light filtered through the bamboo leaves onto the tassels of the skirt hem, dialing up the atmospheric feel to the max.

Although she's a relatively niche minor character in the Touhou Project, it's precisely because of this that there was no baggage when cosplaying her, allowing me to design poses entirely as I pleased—such as leaning on the wooden railing of the corridor with one leg kicked up, sitting on a rock in a daze while holding that black carrot plushie, or intentionally reaching out from behind a pillar to grab the camera. Every single photo exudes that cunning yet innocent small-animal feel. The wig is a short bob haircut that I specially trimmed, which, combined with the white plush ear accessories, makes the face shape look rounder and more endearing. The dress's red-and-white plaid patchwork and red ribbon details, along with white lace-trimmed ankle socks and red Mary Janes, make the overall sweetness of this Lolita outfit just right without being cloying.

To preserve the character's tone of being "a little bit mischievous but inherently very cute," I intentionally controlled my expressions to be more agile, opening my eyes slightly wider with a faint smile at the corners of my mouth, rather than a forced sugary smile. Honestly, the weather was scorching hot when we shot this set, and there were plenty of mosquitoes and bugs in the bamboo forest, but seeing those natural backlights and bamboo shadows in the final photos made me feel everything was completely worth it. I feel that the meaning of cosplay lies in the fact that even if a character isn't frequently mentioned in the mainstream, as long as you genuinely love them and are willing to recreate the details with precision, you can present a vitality unique to that character.

This little teaser is just a preview version, and the official photos are still undergoing meticulous editing, but I simply couldn't resist releasing these few of my absolute favorites first. I hope everyone can also feel this coolness among the bamboo leaves and a little bit of lucky aura from this bamboo forest photoshoot; after all, Tewi Inaba is known as the "Lucky Rabbit," so scrolling to this post counts as a wonderful twist of fate in the world of Anime cosplay photography.
