[Nahida Cosplay] Genshin Impact Dendro Archon Descends โ€“ Staying Elegant Even During Finals Week - Image 1

A lot of thought and effort went into this Nahida costume from design to production. Especially for the vine patterns on the chest and arms, multiple layers of fabric overlapping and hand embroidery were used to recreate that vibrant, life-filled texture. The elf ear wig features a gradient of silver-white and light green, with the hair strands near the ears specially trimmed to let the elf ears show naturally. For the eye makeup, I chose emerald green colored contacts paired with soft eyeshadow blending to make the overall visual closer to that translucent and pure feeling from the game. During the shoot, we used a green backdrop and faux moss, along with Roman columns and white floral arrangements, aiming to recreate the atmosphere under the shade of the Akademiya trees. However, the live lighting on site was quite cluttered, so post-processing focused heavily on adjusting skin tones and light-dark contrast to preserve the light and airy layers of the gauze dress.

The scattered flowers and greenery on the floor were all arranged by hand. To lower my center of gravity for the sitting posture while avoiding crushing the pleats of the skirt hem, many layers of mats were actually laid on the ground. As for props, the armlets on my arms and the floral decorations on my feet were all created using molds and painted with a pearlescent finish. The most time-consuming part of this anime-style photography shoot was actually expression management; since Nahida is a gentle yet slightly mysterious character, I couldn't smile too exaggeratingly, yet still needed to appear approachable. During the positioning guidance, I kept tweaking the angle of my chin and the direction of my gaze, and I am quite satisfied with the final photos. This outfit is a hassle to put on and take off, but seeing the finished result of this Dendro Archon cosplay makes it all worth it.
