This Dog ear police officer concept for Rem originated from the inspiration of a puppy officer coming to arrest you. This styling combines naval uniform elements with animal ears and a tail.
In terms of costume coordination, the hat is a white navy cap with blue trim and a golden badge; the top is a white shirt with a blue tie, accented by pockets on both sides; the bottom is a crisp black leather skirt paired with Black stockings pantyhose. Long black gloves with claw-like designs at the fingertips are worn on the hands, accompanied by heavy silver handcuffs around the wrists with a substantial texture. A fluffy white plush tail is attached behind, with fluffy white ears on both sides of the head.
Regarding shooting details, the light blue wig really brightened the skin tone on camera, and the blue colored contacts were quite eye-catching. The set used a pink gradient backdrop and a white circular pedestal, cushioned with a plush rug to match the overall soft ambiance.
To showcase leg lines, I experimented with many poses. For example, in the side-seated composition of the first photo, slightly bending the knees effectively elongated leg length, and the texture of the Black stockings blended smoothly under the lights. The kneeling photo required controlling the center of gravity, which tested core strength. When standing, keeping shoulders relaxed was crucial to avoid appearing stiff.
Some props were actually quite tricky to manage during the shoot. Wearing the handcuffs for a long time pinched my wrists, and because they were heavy, holding them up during extended shooting made my arms very sore. The black leather gloves were also tight and unbreathable, requiring me to take them off briefly between takes to let my hands breathe, though they were essential for styling.
In post-processing, adjustments mainly focused on skin translucency and blending the pink-purple ambient tones of the background, striving to preserve the crisp sheen of the leather skirt and the material texture of the Black stockings, along with slight refinements to the flow of the wig. Unlike the casual home-style shoots I often do, this uniform carries strong character attributes; eye contact during shooting was relatively more commanding and intense, though the peace-sign gesture later returned to a lighthearted and playful vibe.
Overall, the process of shooting this set of photos was very fulfilling, and I gained a lot of valuable experience on expressing a uniform-wearing character's traits through body language.
