After putting on this Juno outfit, the first tricky thing was the two giant black leather horns on my head. They are quite heavy and have a very strong sheen, which always produced noticeable glare under the studio lights. To keep them from looking too stiff or blocking my face, I specifically adjusted their angles many times before shooting, relying on the support of my neck and head to find the best balance point. This costume has a huge contrast in materials: the black leather gloves, paired with the black bow at the neckline and the stiff stand-up collar, look very fitting for Overwatch's futuristic tech and tactical crispness, but at the same time, the fluffy white Animal ears instantly add a very lively animal feel.
The core of the makeup and styling this time lay in the eyes. To restore the character's demeanor, I chose a pair of bright blue colored contacts with a strong translucent feel. These contacts have a relatively large diameter, so wearing them required extra care, and wearing them for a long time made my eyes dry easily. The white wig features a strand of light blue gradient highlight, looking very cool and aloof. To make my eyes look more spirited, I repeatedly adjusted the density and direction of the false eyelashes according to shooting angles. In front of the camera, a slight angle deviation could make the gaze appear unfocused or dull. During the shoot, I mainly kept a slight upward gaze toward the camera, focusing my eyes slightly above the lens to naturally bring out that slightly innocent and focused expression.
The large area of blue water ripple pattern on the chest of the outfit is the highlight of this entire look. This material has great texture when reflecting light, but it also has a certain exposure sensitivity. During shooting, one must constantly be careful to avoid direct reflections into the lens; otherwise, the overall texture could look cheap or overexposed. The white top has a slightly fitted waist design; the black collar and V-shaped inner cutout not only visually elongate the neckline but also nicely showcase body curves. The leather gloves on both hands naturally form creases when moving, creating three-dimensional shadows under strong light and adding layers to the composition.
Because the description mentioned a little sheep, I tried many fun interpretations in posing, such as gently touching the horns with both hands, or making a V-sign with one hand as in the first photo. Compared to simply standing dryly, these poses with subtle movements appear much more dynamic. The folds of the garment were fixed before shooting, especially the giant black bow at the waist; the ribbons had to hang down naturally and stay centered, otherwise it would spoil the overall exquisiteness. The strands of the wig also needed smoothing; the curled ahoge on top is the soul, but it shouldn't stick up too high.
Regarding shooting and post-processing, I preserved the subtle sheen texture of the leather goods and the authentic fabric texture of the clothes, keeping the face looking fair and translucent without losing the original bone structure dimensionality from over-retouching. Since the costume's main color scheme is black, white, and blue with rich details, I specifically chose a minimalist gray background. Gray not only nicely complements the character's skin tone but also doesn't steal the visual focus from the costume. In fact, beyond testing makeup details, this photoshoot was even more of a test of stamina: wearing a heavy wig and sheep horns while maintaining elegant poses and expressions was not easy in itself. I hope that through these details in the photos, everyone can feel the ingenuity and the blend of tough yet cute atmosphere in this styling.
