The inspiration for this shoot comes from combining Rem's classic blue hair look with angel elements, and the overall concept is to create a pure yet slightly playful "Flower Angel" image. The wig is still the iconic short blue hair, with the bangs and ends carefully trimmed in layers. Combined with the light blue contact lenses, I am quite satisfied with the level of accuracy. The outfit chooses a pure white off-the-shoulder dress. The abundance of ruffled pleats at the neckline and cuffs adds a soft visual layer, while the large bow at the waist serves as the visual center, making the overall proportions more coordinated.
The white wings on my back were repeatedly adjusted before the shoot to ensure they were full enough when unfurled, without making the edges of the wings look harsh in the lens. Especially the standing pose facing forward with spread wings in Figure 3, the curvature of the wings and the light passing through were just right. The halo support on top of my head uses fine wire, which makes it easy to fix while ensuring it doesn't block too much of the facial contours in the frame. The shooting location was chosen in a sun-drenched greenhouse. The naturally scattered blue-purple hydrangeas and white daisies in the background create an excellent color echo with Rem's blue and the angel white. The beige velvet fabric of the daybed has a very soft texture under diffuse reflection light, allowing one to relax and strike various poses.
To present a sense of lightness, post-processing only did basic color unification, focusing on preserving the translucency of the skin and the clean pure white of the clothes without excessive airbrushing. This is because I feel a Cosplay photoshoot should truly recreate the character's temperament. This attempt also gave me more insights into shooting angel themes, and I hope to challenge more different styles of Rem looks in the future, further exploring this Sweet style within the realm of Anime-style photography.
