[Reze cosplay] Chainsaw Man: A Refreshing Moment in the Summer Meadow

Summer outdoor shoots always call for some refreshing elements. This outfit, combining a white shirt with a black bow tie, is perfect in my opinion for showcasing Reze's unique casual yet slightly cool and detached temperament.

To create a crisp visual look, I opted for a sleeveless white collared shirt with a relatively structured fit. Even when sitting or squatting on the grass, the shoulder lines remain well-defined. Paired with black over-the-knee socks and classic loafers, the overall color tension is focused on the black-and-white palette—simple yet highly recognizable.

As for the purplish-red hairstyle, I actually put quite a bit of thought into styling it. To give the hair strands a natural curve rather than a stiff, plastic look, I adjusted the direction of the bangs and sideburns before wearing it so that they perfectly framed the cheekbones, making my gaze look more spirited on camera. For the makeup, I kept it minimal, emphasizing the sharpness of the eyeliner while avoiding overly heavy lip color to maintain a fresh, vibrant, yet subtle texture fitting for Anime-style photography in a summer outdoor setting.

The location for this outdoor photography was a meadow filled with yellow wildflowers. The height of the flowers was very ideal; they didn't block the line of sight but instead formed a wonderful color backdrop in the background blur. Special thanks to the photographer for mastering the lighting. The sunlight that day wasn't particularly harsh, falling under soft, diffused light. When this light hit the white shirt, the highlight details were preserved beautifully without overexposure. Under this lighting, the edges of the black long socks and black shorts didn't turn into pitch black either, allowing the texture details of the fabric to remain visible.

We shot from several different angles, including a sitting pose with one hand supporting on the ground and a squatting pose holding a daisy. In truth, sharing snippets of this Cosplay daily life and moving around a grassy field in over-the-knee socks and loafers isn't easy. To ensure the tops of the socks didn't slide down when squatting, we repeatedly adjusted our angles. However, the final result turned out very natural. Actions like gesturing near my line of sight or holding a bouquet from the ground close to my cheek beautifully captured that slightly guarded yet quiet and enduring atmosphere characteristic of her. Overall, the shoot went very smoothly, and the final images perfectly fit the refreshing tone set by the theme "Unfinished Summer."
