The overall vision for this shoot was to leverage candy-pink tones to make the black styling elements pop with a distinctive Sweet dark style. The giant cake prop was actually quite heavy; to avoid any cramped oppression from its bulk, we framed mostly from side-profile and subtle low upward angles. The costume fabrics were lightweight, while pairing black tights with platform heels put strict control over leg contours to the test. Especially in the skirt-lifting motion chosen for the cover in the seventh photo, engaging the thigh muscles just right was essential to ensure sleek, flowing lines. The tricky part of this look was that the waist ties and the wings on my back shifted easily, demanding constant posture resets between takes. The heart-shaped bow, birdcage, and strawberry props enriched the composition, offering varied pose references that might inspire fellow creators. Rooted in an underground-idol aesthetic, facial expressions needed to strike a balance of being sweet yet slightly edgy. For lighting, a front-key light illuminated the face while rim lighting sculpted the black wings behind me, using light-and-dark contrast to accentuate material textures. When capturing jumps and kicks, careful shutter speed control was crucial to prevent motion blur. The photographer constantly snapped relaxed, candid moments, yielding many genuine captures.
