[Sandrone Cosplay] Genshin Impact: Nantong Anime Convention Hall Shots

Retouching for this set from the Nantong anime convention wrapped just a week ago, so here is the finished share. Bringing Sandrone to life this time involved extensive dedication to hair and makeup. The wig is pale blonde, featuring blunt front bangs and long hair in the back, adorned with geometric black diamond hairpieces and long red ribbons; styling the bangs to curl naturally took an hour of advance prep. The makeup paired bright blue cosmetic contacts with enlarged eye contours, intensifying blush and under-eye flushes to evoke a doll-like 2D presence. The attire features her signature white, black, red, and gold palette—a geometric white maid headpiece, white-and-gold bodice ruffles, a black-and-gold corset, and a layered red-and-white skirt. Layering all pieces made it quite heavy, especially the black-and-gold collar with ruby ornaments, which felt fairly restrictive around the neck. On-set Photography utilized a Canon R6 II paired with 24mm f/1.4 and 85mm f/1.4 lenses. The 24mm f/1.4 framed full-body and seated postures, where upward or downward angles showcased the skirt's rich tiers, while the 85mm f/1.4 delivered tack-sharp close-up portraits. With dense convention crowds, we retreated to a quiet second-floor corridor lined with neutral gray partition walls and balanced ambient illumination. Working with the photographer, beyond direct portraits, I emphasized lower-body lines; seated poses revealed the lustrous texture of the white Stockings under ambient light, framing bodily proportions against the red-and-black skirt. Post-processing focused on preserving the organic texture of the skin and Stockings without over-smoothing, keeping facial planes dimensional while crushing the background to isolate the subject. Posing with an index finger against the lips channeled her enigmatic, restrained aura. Shooting lasted about an hour and a half amid onlookers, with every click fine-tuning posture and gaze focus. Two days of editing preserved the gear's resolving power and chromatic depth, resulting in this finalized collection.
