The photo set taken outside the Anime convention is finally retouched. The wind was extremely strong that day—bordering on a wild gale—yet this unexpectedly yielded many fantastic candid moments of dynamic movement. Cosplaying Lynette this time, the overall look followed an Angel Garden-themed Ballet style. To complement this white lace dress, I deliberately wore White stockings and switched into pointe shoes that heavily test foot strength. Honestly, standing en pointe on hard plaza paving tiles placed enormous pressure on my ankles, making every step an act of sheer perseverance through gritted teeth. The ribbons were already hard to manage on their own, and once the wind blew, they lost control completely, frequently requiring the photographer or me to block the wind by hand just to steady them. In the first photo, a sudden gust happened to blow the ribbons into a massive arc; taking advantage of the momentum, I pointed my toes, feeling as though my entire body was lifted by the airflow—the resulting effect was surprisingly lively and dynamic. The second photo is a balancing pose leaning against a wall; because the crosswind was so strong, standing on one leg made my center of gravity extremely precarious, requiring me to tense my core and leg muscles the entire time just to hold until the shutter clicked—my legs were shaking after the shot. The third photo captures a brief interlude bending over to adjust my shoe ribbons, taking advantage of a momentary lull in the wind to regroup, which photographer Xuan Yi Ya Ma Yi cleverly snapped candidly. From this downward-looking angle, the contours of my neck and shoulders along with the drape of my long hair were clearly defined by the lighting. The sunlight outside the Anime convention venue was harsh; facing the sun directly easily caused heavy facial shadows, requiring constant adjustments to my positioning to balance exposure using bounce light from nearby walls and pavement. Special thanks go to the photographer here, who not only had to help guide the flow of the ribbons in such windy conditions, but also repeatedly squatted down and stood up to find angles, which was truly exhausting. The translucent texture of the White stockings and sheer tulle under the sun looked wonderful, accentuating and elongating the lines of my legs. Although walking around all afternoon in heeled pointe shoes placed intense stress on my toes and insteps—relying purely on willpower by the end—seeing this high-quality convention photo set made all the prep and practice feel completely worthwhile. The dynamic flow of this entire photo set feels far more natural than an indoor studio shoot; that posture, swept by the wind and ready to take flight in dance at any moment, serves as the ultimate interpretation of this cosplay work.
