For this shoot, I selected Marin Kitagawa's iconic Bunny girl look from My Dress-Up Darling. Given how unique the outfit is, considerable care went into the props—especially the serving tray and red wine glass, which demanded steady wrist control to avoid spilling anything during takes.

The costume is crafted from high-gloss patent leather that hugs the body snugly, though it is quite tight, requiring careful modulation of movement when bending down or serving props. The wig features long pink-to-blonde gradient hair; to achieve natural, airy motion, I thoroughly combed it beforehand so the strands would flutter smoothly during turns or walking steps.

For makeup, adjustments centered on the eyes, using pink contact lenses to capture Marin's vibrant, confident gaze. The Black fishnet stockings boast great elasticity and texture, catching the lights with crisp sheen while pairing with high heels to elongate leg lines.

Shooting took place in an expansive, open exhibition hall framed by overhead downlights. The photographer captured full-body frames with a wide-angle lens along with tight waist-up portraits, balancing overall body proportions with garment details. The wide-angle low-angle shots built commanding presence, though keeping the legs firmly locked and extended was crucial. The close-ups brought out delicate nuances, particularly the weave of the fishnets and the sheen across the patent leather.

Balancing the drink tray required firm wrist stability while maintaining an effortless smile. Striking dynamic poses in platform high heels was physically demanding, yet the camera results were deeply satisfying.

Among the many selects, I adore the shot flashing a peace sign; it effortlessly embodies Marin's bubbly, adorable charm and fits the breezy convention mood. Another seated full-body frame holding the wine glass carried immense presence and poise.

Close coordination with the photographer was essential throughout the session. Balancing props, wardrobe placement, and expressive eye contact meant reviewing details after every set of clicks. For a series like My Dress-Up Darling, Marin stands out with such vivid personality and flair, making this styling homage an absolute joy. Despite the exhaustion after wrapping, seeing the final photos made every bit of effort worthwhile.
