[Lisa cosplay] Genshin Impact Witch's Elegant Celebration and Sea of Flowers Date

Made it in time for the witch's birthday! Today happened to be assigned to Lisa-nee, so on this special day, I'm sharing this photoset shot in an early summer purple sea of flowers. Speaking of Lisa, Genshin Impact's lazy yet intellectual librarian, when preparing this outfit, I kept reflecting on how to recreate that mature, composed elegance. Choosing the wig color took a long time, eventually settling on this soft, fluffy brownish-orange long curly wig, which preserves her soft grace without looking overly heavy. The purple witch hat features matching ruffled edges along the brim, accented with an eye-catching golden rose bud brooch set against the dominant purple, harmonizing comfortably with the overall tone. Red lipstick serves as the finishing touch. Looking in the mirror at myself putting on gloves and tidying my collar, it feels as if I'm truly strolling through a sea of flowers somewhere in Sumeru City or Mondstadt.

I specifically chose a fine-weather outdoor location for this photoset. Sunlight was fantastic that day, with pure blue skies and white clouds. A photographer friend helped me find a meadow filled with tiny white flowers, where pinkish-white petals interleaved with lush green stems and leaves. To create that dreamlike atmosphere of a witch amidst a sea of flowers, we opted for low-angle upward shots. As cosplayers know, low-angle shooting tests core control; to freeze this instant, I worked hard engaging my abdominal core to keep a tall posture while maintaining a natural tilt with the rose without looking stiff. The purple long dress features a side slit, subtly revealing the black safety shorts border and leg lines among blossoms, preserving her mysterious elegance while looking sharp and vibrant under Outdoor photography light and shadows.

I remember it was very windy that day, constantly whipping my skirt around. To avoid failed takes with chaotic skirt movements obscuring my face, we took numerous shots and intentionally waited for passing shower clouds to cover the sun for a few minutes. Sunlight spilling through cloud gaps for those few seconds felt incredibly soft on my face, capturing the final photo right at that instant. I particularly love the pink rose in my hand. Though just a simple bloom without packaging, amidst the black, white, and purple combination, this touch of pink serves as a visual breath in the frame, echoing her identity as an elegant witch.

During hair and makeup, I emphasized eyebrow contours and applied earth-toned eyeshadow to contrast with yellow bangs while keeping overall makeup from feeling overly heavy. Outfit details were also carefully adjusted; for example, the golden flower waist ornament was hand-modified and spliced by me to fit the garment better. For gloves, I chose matte black faux leather, which offers richer texture than glossy gloves while preventing harsh glare in sunlight.

Regarding this outfit, one minor regret is that while the original design possesses rich character detail settings, I fine-tuned color saturation to better suit outdoor lighting, making it less dark and more aligned with early summer tones. Although posing under the scorching sun in flower fields was hot, seeing the harmony of blue sky, white clouds, blossoms, and purple in the final photos made all the exertion worthwhile. Cosplayers shooting outdoors fear strong winds most, yet natural field breezes gave the wig and skirt a flowing rhythm, adding a sense of dynamic life to static photos.

Today's seasonal breeze paired with the witch's birthday vibe made this photoset particularly meaningful. As a dedicated Roleplay enthusiast, using makeup, scouting locations, and posing to bring a fictional character to life as a birthday tribute carries immense ritual meaning. In the world of Genshin Impact, Lisa-nee would probably be holding black tea on some afternoon, gazing at garden plants and books.

The sea of flowers photo shoot location today was actually an accidental discovery. After walking half an hour carrying equipment, the moment I saw these wild flowers, I felt this was the real-world scene best suited for Lisa's temperament. Compared to studio shoots, I truly prefer Cosplay in natural light. Even if my skin gets a few shades darker, straight-out-of-camera colors feel deeply healing. The wig blew in the wind all day, catching several grass blades when combing it out afterward, but these were minor episodes; whenever I see my gentle eyes and relaxed expression in the photos, all heat and exhaustion instantly fade away.

Compositionally, generous negative space was reserved for the blue sky above, while lush flowers and grass filled the lower framing. From a photographic perspective, low-angle shots elongate the silhouette while bringing clear sky blues and soft cloud whites into the frame. Throughout shooting, I continuously adjusted expressions to match her lazy yet composed aura without coming across as stiff. The final selected image features a soft glow in the eyes, paired with the rose in hand, representing my interpretation and expression of this character.

As mentioned earlier, the wig required styling a day in advance due to its high volume—not only curling but ensuring bangs had just the right curvature to fit under the hat seamlessly. These preparations took nearly half a day, but I feel Lisa cosplay itself is a creative process; getting closer step by step to her image in my mind is the most rewarding part.

As the shutter clicked for the final time, this sea of flowers shoot came to a close. Looking at the captured frame on screen felt like truly meeting this elegant witch in the breeze.
