This time, collaborating with the team to shoot Aurora from Fate/Grand Order. From makeup and styling to lighting, we actually put a lot of thought into presenting that lightweight, translucent divine atmosphere.

Let's talk about the most crucial wing props first. The fully transparent holographic material chosen this time refracts a brilliant array of colors blending pinkish-purple, lake blue, and dreamy yellow when light hits it. To restore the character's divine luxury, we specially customized the butterfly wings with a light blue border. Under the studio's strong backlight, the wings truly create an illusion of glowing. The golden vine crown headpiece is fully custom-made, adding a lot of aristocratic elf temperament, and beautifully outlines the facial contour under side-backlighting.

The makeup focuses on emphasizing the facial bone structure and a sense of aloofness. The model has an excellent natural base, so the makeup didn't pile up complex colors; instead, it mostly used a single color eyeshadow to deepen the eye contour, paired with silver glitter accents, and a slightly upturned eyeliner to firmly capture that proud, cold elf gaze characteristic of Aurora. The hair color chosen was a cool, pale gold so that it reflects light well in the studio, avoiding blending into the skin tone.

Before shooting, we had a highly detailed communication with the photography teacher @蚀叁三Nodas palette. What we wanted was not that hard-lit studio shoot, but rather an Elf portrait with a "soft-light suspended feel." In terms of scene arrangement, the foreground flowers and withered branches of Yanghe Garden Photography Studio were used very cleverly, constructing excellent spatial layers. The photographer used a large aperture to blur the foreground flowers and the background tassels, pulling the visual focus entirely back to the subject and the wings, creating a vision of being placed in a fantasy realm.

The final color grading of this set was completed by the post-processing teacher @白夜-w, preserving the warm tones of the original photos but lifting the purity of the whites, making the entire frame look like the first ray of sunlight filtering through a morning forest. Although everyone often teases this character, when truly stepping into the studio and putting on this outfit, one completely immerses into her beautiful yet inherently sorrowful atmosphere. Rather than a character restoration, it's more like completing an exploration of photographic aesthetics regarding dreamy light and shadow, colors, and materials through this look.

This was a very smooth creative collaboration; several teachers were professional and responsible, and the final output exceeded my expectations. I hope this photo set allows everyone to feel the charm of the spirit of light who radiates gorgeous brilliance in Fate/Grand Order.
