This white sailor-collar top paired with a cyan-blue plaid bowknot design inherently carries a refreshing feel perfect for the outdoors. To match this texture, I specially chose a long wig transitioning from silver-white to aqua-blue. Under the sunlight, the blue at the hair ends forms a great echo with the bowknot on the clothes and the blue lines in the skirt. Because I wanted to reflect the character's lightweight feel, the makeup didn't use overly heavy eyeshadow this time; instead, I used a bit of polarized highlight at the inner corners of the eyes to make the gaze look more translucent under natural light.

In terms of costume tailoring, although this jacket features a sailor collar, it has a slightly cinched waist and loose cuffs, which makes the body silhouette look quite natural when taking photos outdoors without appearing bulky. The lower body is a classic grey-and-black base pleated skirt with fine yellow and blue grid patterns. This color scheme is truly rare; it can both anchor the white upper body and prevent the overall look from appearing dull. Paired with pure white over-knee long stockings and shiny black thick-soled buckle Mary Jane shoes, the visual color layers are highly rich. That brown retro small leather bag is also a highlight of this set; it's not only a prop but also adds a touch of warm color to the overall cool-toned outfit, giving the frame more breath of life.

During the shoot, we selected several different scenes. The images feature both wooden benches, outdoor metal railings, and pathways. In terms of light handling, we specially picked the afternoon time block when the sunlight was relatively soft, letting the sun shine from the side and back. Everyone can look at the highlights on the wig and hair accessories in the photos; that golden rim-like contour light can instantly make the frame highly cinematic, and the hair will look fluffier and more textured. The wind was a bit strong that day, and although it occasionally messed up the hair, it also captured the dynamic feel of the wig drifting with the wind, which instead made the frame more vivid, no longer that stiffly posed style. However, to dodge the wind, I did press down on my hair accessories quite a bit.

The texture of the clothes is also very important. This sailor-collar white jacket would easily wrinkle if it were pure cotton, but this one has a bit of crisp structure, so it holds its silhouette well in the photos. Both the neckline and cuffs have dark grey contrasting borders, which add three-dimensionality to the clothes in the details. That plaid bowknot on the chest is made of a material with moderate stiffness, not a saggy cotton cloth, so it maintains its shape well and is very photogenic in both wide-angle and mid-range close-up shots. When dressing up as Firefly, I paid special attention to recreating the pupil color, choosing lenses with a light purple-blue tone so they could echo the silver-white wig, making the gaze more gentle under natural light. For the lip makeup, I chose a matte peach color to coordinate with the overall translucent and clear makeup. The garment's bowknot is the essence of the entire uniform; my handling method was to push the bowknot up slightly so it sat right above the collarbones, which can visually extend the length of the neck.

Regarding the shooting equipment and post-processing, this set of photos kept the light and shadow feel of the original shots as much as possible. I didn't let the photographer use overly heavy filters or excessive post-processing edits; instead, I relied on natural light and focal length to present the texture of the skin and clothes. For instance, in image one, the dappled tree shadows falling on the face actually have more narrative feel than flat lighting brightening the whole face. In post-processing, I mainly adjusted the details of the highlights and shadows to make the white stockings look cleaner without being harsh to the eyes, while preserving the texture of the plaid skirt and the leather details on the bag. The composition of the photography was also quite meticulous: the foreground blur, the mid-ground character, and the distant green trees created an outing atmosphere. The camera parameters were set to low ISO and a large aperture during the shoot, which could indeed blur the green bushes in the background softly, making the layers between the character and the background distinct. The transparency of white stockings under backlight severely tests the light; in this set, I specially chose a fabric with micro-elasticity, which both modifies the leg lines and doesn't easily generate obvious creases at the knees.

For the postures, some in the photos are playful cute actions, while some are casual sitting poses or relaxed standing. Personally, I quite like that posture in image four where both hands point to the cheeks; it has a lively feel of returning to campus, and it can display the hairstyle and face shape very well. As for the one sitting on the bench, extending the legs slightly toward the lens, combined with the white stockings and thick-soled shoes, can beautifully elongate the body proportions. Actually, the core of shooting this kind of daily-oriented set is not exaggerated movements, but letting the model relax, as if taking a walk in this environment and being caught on camera by chance.

For a good outdoor portrait, the details of the clothes, the management of the wig, and the cleanliness of the makeup are all indispensable. The brown schoolbag in this photo was specially paired by me; compared to the completely accurate character prop bag, this retro academy-style leather bag is actually easier to blend into this fresh and natural outdoor scene. In these sets of photos, I also wanted to convey the character's fresh and natural traits as much as possible through the attire and environment. Every outdoor location encounters different situations, but it is precisely these changes in light and environment that give each set of works its unique memory footprint.
