This time, I attempted a fan-design look for Furina from Genshin Impact. While retaining the character's iconic blue-and-white color scheme and gorgeous top hat, I added elements with a richer magical texture. Different layers of blue fabrics and sequin materials were used for the costume to simulate the refraction of water light, and the diamond-shaped gem on the chest as well as the patchwork details on the gloves were specially adjusted by hand. The wig underwent a complete redesign so that the gradient blue at the hair ends unifies with the overall tone, paired with cold-toned makeup to make the gaze look more mysterious. During the shoot, to emphasize the theme of the "Water element," the prop crew prepared simulated water streams and bubble special effects. Sitting on a black high stool, I guided the flowing water to surround me through hand movements and postures, creating a nimble atmosphere as if being underwater. This session was not only about restoring the character's charm, but more about using the lighting and post-production atmosphere to give the frame a slight touch of a fantasy movie still. For me, cosplay is not just about putting on clothes, but a deep understanding of the character's temperament. I'm very glad to present this gift from the deep sea through this piece of Cosplay photography from the 2D community.
