[Cyrene Cosplay] The Romance of Honkai: Star Rail, Paying in Full to Pick Up My Dream Car on 520

While completing the pickup procedures at the Xiaomi Delivery Center, I finished shooting the final look photos for this character outfit. Choosing the date of May 20th specifically to deliver the car was to give myself, who has been working hard at life, a complete sense of ritual amidst the loving holiday atmosphere. Since I chose an anime style to record this, from the opening props to the hardcore partner that is the car, this passion had to be carried through to the end.

Before heading out, I arranged this custom character costume. The large area of off-the-shoulder white structure, combined with the starry purple gradient long trailing skirt hem, creates highly distinct layers. Those white leaf-shaped or branch-like headpieces on the head have a very lightweight texture, which happened to hold up the tone of the pink wig. To ensure the shooting effect, I specifically paired it with semi-transparent stockings featuring white patterns and silver-white lace-up single shoes. For the final step before leaving, I intentionally stuffed that matching plush doll into the bag, just to have it feature in today's photos. Many fellow fans choose to hold a bouquet during a Cosplay car pickup, but I feel that cradling this character doll full of memory points in my hand is the romance exclusive to anime enthusiasts.

Upon arriving at the Xiaomi Delivery Center, the showroom's lighting was even brighter than imagined. That light pearlescent-colored Xiaomi SU7 Pro actual car stood right in the center, its streamlined body and low-profile sports tires carrying exceptional texture. The moment I signed all the paperwork and received the car keys, that heavy sense of satisfaction finally grounded. This car pickup didn't rely on family support at all; it was paid in full using my own savings accumulated bit by bit over the past two years. I know many people online say that picking up a car is a relatively realistic and material choice, but for me, being able to embrace a tangible dream through my own hard work on this 520 day feels highly solid.

After completing the delivery process, I held the doll and took a set of photos by the car. When sitting into the driver's seat, the deep purple sports seats inside the car and the overall dark interior texture were wonderful. Because I picked the colors with my own hands, it unexpectedly matched the theme color of this character setup, carrying a cross-dimensional mix-and-match aesthetic beauty. I asked a traveling friend to freeze a few moments for me, including the posture sitting on the edge of the car door, making it convenient to display the leg apparel details and overall tailoring more clearly. Standing next to the car body while cradling that cute pink doll, one can feel that the soft-cute attributes of anime and the hardcore texture of industrial machinery merge wonderfully here.

Settling the doll in the back seat with a blue-and-white color-matched car pickup bouquet next to it, looking through the car window made that sense of displacement even more interesting instead. Many people might think whether it's too much trouble to dress up so grandly for a car pickup, but I feel life itself is full of all kinds of possibilities. Since I have a character I like and a car I like, why not let them appear together? Moreover, many details of this outfit were matched with effort to fit the original design; being able to step from the screen into reality and then generate a physical intersection with my beloved car makes this sense of achievement truly fulfilling.

Completing this shoot and driving the car out of the showroom, what I felt was a self-consistent happiness. Not relying on parents, taking my favorite car in full while being able to retain the things and hobbies I like—this is the freedom and confidence of an adult. Keeping a memento to record this ritual-filled 520 is a reward for my own hard work and a continuation of self-identity.
