This set of official photos for Saber Alter from the Fate series of Artoria Alter has finally been completed. This time, preparation focused on costume texture and prop restoration. For the upper body, a deep blue halter dress was chosen, featuring a teardrop-shaped cutout at the chest. The skirt hem has an irregular cut, accented with white totem embroidery along the edges, paired with a black ruffled base layer underneath. The huge deep blue bow at the back needed to be secured very firmly, and the deep blue neck choker was also adjusted to the most comfortable tightness. To match the overall styling, long black elbow-length gloves and black over-the-knee Stockings were worn, paired with a pair of black pointy-toe high heels, instantly establishing the overall tone and aura.
In terms of props, this huge black two-handed sword is extremely heavy. The hilt is cross-shaped, and the blade is engraved with slender red line patterns, requiring a certain amount of strength to control in hand, especially when posing with a one-handed sword hold or standing leaning on the sword, requiring core tightening to maintain stability. The wig was chosen as light blonde, keeping wispy bangs on the forehead, face-framing hair on both sides, and braids pinned up at the back of the head. In terms of makeup, to fit the character's coldness, the eye makeup was drawn relatively sharp, paired with amber contact lenses, and a vintage-leaning red lip color, striving for a clean and crisp overall look.
The shooting location was chosen in an indoor studio, set up to feel like a white greenhouse conservatory. The ground was covered with a thick white plush carpet, and the surroundings were filled with sunflowers, white roses, light-colored wild flowers, palm leaves, and ferns. The background featured white wrought-iron arches, and a black piano and a small white round table covered with a lace tablecloth were brought to the set, with a golden teapot and teacups placed on the table. The on-site lighting was exceptionally bright, and the cool-toned deep blue costume formed a strong color contrast with the warm yellow sunflowers, giving a gorgeous yet mysterious atmosphere.
A wide variety of angles and movements were tried during the shooting process. For example, a top-down overhead perspective lying on the carpet with legs suspended, and a posture of playing while sitting in front of the piano. To showcase Saber Alter's aura, the sword-holding posture and gaze needed constant adjustment. The black over-the-knee Stockings and high heels in this set of photos are displayed relatively completely under the lens, and the presentation of leg lines was also a particularly emphasized aspect during shooting. The set of pictures in Picture 12 also incorporated smoke effects generated by a dry ice machine, making the image even more dreamy. A lot of thought went into the composition and scene setup of this work, hoping to express the character's cold yet elegant traits.
