[Kyoyama Kazusa cosplay] Documenting Cat-Girl Daily Life in Blue Archive: Anime style selfie Capturing Dynamic Character Moments

Today's Kyoyama Kazusa cosplay look was one of my most satisfying outdoor endeavors recently. Every styling element from the original Blue Archive canon was meticulously put into place during preparation. The iconic pink dual-ring halo atop my head had great structural support, and the black animal ears left ample space on the sides for accessories—especially the small white clip with red patterns, which sat neatly beside the straight bangs to break up the monotony of pure black hair.

For makeup, I stayed true to the character design, choosing reddish-pink star-ring colored contacts paired with matching lower-eyelid shading and eyeshadow blending. The base makeup was kept light and translucent, concealing blemishes without looking chalky or artificial under natural light. To accompany the signature short black hair, I softened the hair ends with a subtle, barely perceptible dark purple gradient, which created richer dimensions under outdoor sunlight.

Photo 1 shows the look with the standard sailor collar and black jacket. The jacket's silhouette was well-tailored, featuring silver-white contrasting stripes along the collar, paired with a classic pink-and-green trimmed sailor collar inner top and a black cord choker with a tiny bell at the chest. This ensemble visually resonated with the character's school vibe while brimming with playful details. Since we shot outdoors on the street, the shutter captured an airy breeze, giving off a wonderfully relaxed and carefree feel. Photo 2 captured the scene after moving indoors: I took off the jacket and switched into a casual white graphic T-shirt, where the black cat print created a delightful visual interaction with the Animal ears cosplay above. Meanwhile, I swapped the neck accessory for a leather collar with a black metal buckle. The clash of varying accessories and outfits allowed these photos to showcase not only the canon character styling but also her multifaceted Anime convention daily life charm. Transitioning outfits across different settings is truly one of the most entertaining parts of creating cosplay works.

Many players have asked me about wig maintenance. In reality, with short bangs styling, the trickiest part is managing the root curvature. To achieve neat, straight bangs, I carefully adjusted them with a flat iron and set them with styling spray, ensuring the bangs maintained crisp definition throughout the entire day of shooting. Anchoring the headwear was equally crucial: to accommodate the mounts for both the halo and animal ears, I sewed a dedicated support mesh inside the wig cap, ensuring the props stayed completely steady without wobbling when nodding or looking up.

For cosplayers, weaving personal understanding into character recreation brings a deep sense of accomplishment. The entire shooting process for this set was very casual, taken primarily via front-camera Anime style selfie shots. The soft outdoor lighting in the first photo maintained balanced contrast and natural facial definition, while the second photo under warm indoor lighting radiated a cozy, gentle texture. I believe delivering a high-quality character presentation doesn't rely solely on post-processing; pre-shoot styling preparation and on-site immersion are the true soul of any work. Although these two Anime convention daily life snapshots feature simple compositions without forced posing, they faithfully document authentic moments celebrating this Blue Archive character and the lifestyle surrounding the convention.
