From getting this black and gold outfit of a modified cheongsam to the final photos, the entire process was actually much more interesting than imagined. The materials of this costume are very rich; the main body is velvet fabric with subtle patterns, and the gold floral embroidery on it has a very embossed feel. Combined with the mesh patchwork neckline and sleeves, wearing it creates a very subtle state where an enveloping feel and breathability coexist.

For the hairstyle, the silver-gray long straight hair is paired with specific loop hair accessories and golden bows. Spending quite some time just managing the curvature of the bangs and sideburns was aimed at presenting a distinct, light hair texture in front of the lens.

This shoot was set indoors, mainly relying on a carved sofa adorned with classical flower and bird patterns. Its vintage tone and deep brown velvet cushions could be said to perfectly match this black outfit. The scene was also paired with some silver candlesticks, red roses, and metal bird ornaments. The inclusion of these props can make the frame more layered, but during composition, it was also necessary to always be careful to avoid stealing the spotlight.

During the shoot, I tried to closely emulate the character's slightly cool yet collected temperament, leaning lazily against the sofa armrest or gently playing with strands of hair to make myself look as relaxed as possible. In the application of light and shadow, we intentionally reinforced the contrast between hard light and highlights this time. The reflections from the silver props formed a wonderful area of embellishment in the frame, while making the black and gold clothing appear sharper and more exquisite. Throughout the shooting process, the photographer continuously fine-tuned the camera and light positions to capture that atmosphere hovering right between gorgeousness and serenity.
