I shot a set of photos wearing this Blue Archive Kisaki sweater outfit on an outdoor rattan chair.
The visual focus of this styling falls entirely on the white knit backless sweater. The high-neck design combined with hollowed-out chunky knit texture feels soft yet possesses a certain thickness. To prevent the sweater from looking plain when worn alone, it was paired with a fluffy beast-ear style hat and a light blue bow. Dark blue-gray long straight hair paired with straight bangs, alongside makeup featuring reddish-brown eyeshadow and red contact lenses, visually preserves Kisaki's mature and elegant temperament, creating a striking contrast with the outfit's naturally cute charm. Accessories also include white plush wristbands and slouchy white over-the-knee socks with pom-poms at the cuffs, resulting in strong color unity across the board.
The shooting scene was set on an outdoor casual rattan chair surrounded by lush green foliage behind, bathed in clear, translucent sunlight. Due to direct natural light, to make the skin tone look more luminous, exposure was carefully controlled during shooting to ensure the outline of the white sweater stayed sharp under the illumination. As for poses, several different angles were explored: a side-back glance looking over the shoulder nicely displays the sweater's open-back cut while showcasing the combination of thighs and long socks; kneeling or leaning against a white cushion creates a more relaxed state, which, combined with hand gestures and playing with hair strands, conveys the casual, lazy feel of the character taking a rest.
As a Blue Archive player, the process of recreating Kisaki was genuinely enjoyable. In her daily state, she gives off a very calm and composed impression, but switching to a comfortable, homey sweater outfit brings out an endearing sense of intimacy. This is why during the photoshoot, I intentionally avoided stern expressions, opting instead to relax my facial muscles for a naturally soft gaze. Combined with fluffy accessories, the overall vibe felt much more comfortable.
This set mainly documents my thoughts on this styling. White sweaters and White tights cosplay elements easily capture a clean, crisp texture under sunlight, with the woven rattan chair and green leaf background serving as wonderful accents. Bringing two-dimensional fashion into a real-world outdoor environment didn't feel out of place at all. The light presentation and three-dimensional plush texture in the final photos are what I find most satisfying this time.
