The idea for this crossover was actually brewing for a long time. I wanted to capture that mixture of a cool-toned techno vibe and a blurry, dreamy atmosphere characteristic of Lucy in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. An outfit with a black, white, and grey base color palette is actually quite a test of texture in a studio shoot, especially the layers of the leather jacket and the wig, which require careful control over reflections to avoid looking cheap. During the shoot, we didn't use overly flashy lighting setups; the main goal was to emphasize the character's presence in a clean environment, even adding a touch of peaceful weightlessness.
This pose design draws from the imagery of Lucy being submerged in an ocean of data in the anime, but its execution emphasizes physical tension. For the makeup details, I specially preserved the transparency of the blue eyes, matching the gradient at the hair tips to stay as true as possible to her aloof yet alluring temperament. When communicating with the photographer, composition was my biggest priority; it couldn't be just a simple standing poseāthe lines of the hood and the jacket needed to extend across the frame. Since this is for the Wuthering Waves creator incentive, I also tried combining the Cyberpunk elements with the mecha texture from the game, ensuring it wouldn't stray from the essence of the original work. After switching between several poses and agonizing over the photo selection for a long time, I finally picked out these few that best fit the "Have A Good Dream" vibe.
