The character I portrayed this time is Marie Rose from Azur Lane. To faithfully bring her iconic look to life, I poured considerable care into styling the wig. The elevation of the Twintails and the gentle curl of the ends were recalibrated multiple times, while the fringe was trimmed to contour the face with precision; pairing this with vivid azure contact lenses made the entire visual presence snap into focus immediately. For makeup, I avoided anything overly dramatic, focusing on preserving a clean skin texture with subtle touches of soft pink blush to soften facial contours.

The costume design is full of personality. The core piece is a deep navy bodysuit crafted from a glossy material that carries a leather-like luster, hugging the body tightly to sculpt a clean silhouette. Black contrasting panels wrap around the neckline, edged with a delicate trim of white ruffled frills and centered by a large red bow that sparks an intense chromatic pop. Matching white ruffles trace along the leg openings of the thighs, introducing textural layers and maidenly playfulness to an otherwise sleek, structured bodysuit. Because the canon design foregoes footwear, the entire session was shot barefoot, with toenails painted in a matching crimson lacquer to echo the focal chest bow.

The shoot was staged in a cozy indoor setting with everyday slice-of-life warmth. The background featured a low wooden credenza flanked by leafy indoor greenery and a sofa draped in off-white textured throws; this neutral, light-toned palette made the character and the saturated hues of the costume stand out effortlessly. The lighting favored diffused softboxes, casting natural, organic specular highlights across the glossy fabric that looked breathtaking on camera. To showcase both garment textures and character charm, I leaned into uninhibited, relaxed body language rather than rigid posing—lounging across the cushions to brush fingers through my hair, bending my knees slightly to keep limbs elongated, or occasionally perching barefoot atop the sofa to glance sideways into the lens.

Throughout the session, I continuously adjusted my poise. Due to the skin-tight fit of the bodysuit, seated angles and broader movements required vigilance, making it essential to smooth out minor creasing between takes to keep structural lines fluid in frame. Tending to the wig was equally constant; long twin tails tangle easily or swing awkwardly across the torso with movement, demanding continuous repositioning so that every capture preserved a flawless hairstyle. The prominent red bow also required careful compositional framing, ensuring it didn't blend into background clutter so the focal hierarchy remained squarely on the character.
