Putting on this light blue loose button-up jacket and the yellow little duck hat, and styling the light ice-blue curly hair into natural waves, today's photo record officially begins. For this Furina look, the focus of the makeup was primarily placed on the color rendering around the eyes to highlight the exquisite and agile feel unique to the character. I specially chose light blue contact lenses and layered a pinkish-purple blush around the outer corners and underneath the eyes. Combined with curled eyelashes and tender pink lip makeup, the overall facial makeup presents a doll-like texture with a touch of dreaminess, which also perfectly complements the cool ambient light.
In terms of outfit coordination, I chose a pure white doll-collar inner layer, covered by a light blue loose long-sleeved cardigan, and paired with a white high-waisted pleated skirt for the lower body. This top-wide and bottom-narrow silhouette design not only showcases a casual and relaxed atmosphere but also beautifully accentuates body proportions. The skirt length is just right, and when paired with white ruffled ankle socks and black platform Mary Jane shoes, it effectively elongates the leg lines visually. The overall color palette consists of light blue, pure white, and black, making it clean and refreshing.
Among the accessories of the entire look, the yellow bucket hat is the most eye-catching presence. The front of the hat features a duck-shaped beak and a pink blush pattern, forming a particularly adorable echo with the stubborn ahoge sticking up on top of my head. In addition, I wore a white soft cloth bag slung crossbody, which is also shaped like a little duck; it not only has a three-dimensional yellow beak but also features small wing designs on the sides that sway gently as I walk, adding to the playfulness of the frame. There is also an exquisite small animal badge on the left chest. These minor details give the plain-colored jacket much more to look at.
The shooting location was chosen on the outdoor corridor of a high-rise building, featuring large areas of stainless steel and glass railings, through which distant city buildings and greenery can be seen. The time of the shoot was right at dusk, and the sky presented a clear, cool blue tone. This natural light hitting the subject dressed in blue and white made the transition of light and shadow very soft, giving the overall image an inherently cool and clean filter atmosphere. During the actual shoot, we experimented with various movements to capture natural emotions, including standing on one foot in front of the railing with open arms, making camera gestures with both hands, holding the edge of the hat with both hands, or simply sitting directly on the smooth marble floor. These different actions allow the photos to display a rich sense of scenario, especially during the one-footed stand and the sitting posture, where the combination of the skirt hem and ruffled socks beautifully showcases the leg lines.
Since the clothes are relatively loose, natural wrinkles are generated during jumping and turning, but it is precisely this casual state that avoids the stiffness of deliberate posing. When holding the prop bag, I would pinch its edge and let it drop naturally; this relaxed little movement made me feel deeply immersed.
Styling the wig for this look required a bit of patience, especially the curls at the hair ends, which took multiple applications of setting spray to maintain that fluffy and natural curve shown in the photos. Fortunately, the hair condition was great that day, and that little tuft of ahoge stayed firmly fixed on top of my head. The layers of eyeshadow were also blended and adjusted multiple times, aiming to express the transparent texture unique to 2D charm without appearing too heavy. Overall, this set of record photos was completed in a relatively relaxed state; although passersby occasionally walked through the corridor, once I entered the shooting state, I could quickly immerse myself to capture those expressions and movements filled with a bit of unique personality. I am also very satisfied with the final photo results. This refreshing blue and white outfit in the aqua-blue light and shadows perfectly fits the character's daily atmosphere.
