For this official shoot, I chose the "Ode Among Flowers" gown ensemble. From costume to setting, I aimed to stay as close as possible to that gentle, ethereal atmosphere. A pink wig paired with a pure white rose floral wreath headpiece set the foundational tone for the entire makeup and hair styling. To complement the light palette of this dress, base and eye makeup were intentionally kept minimalist and clear, preventing a heavy look that might disrupt the original design's pure feel.

Regarding outfit details, the dress materials are incredibly refined: the outer layer features fine shimmering gauze, while the inner layer stacks multiple structured white petticoats. When sitting on the floor, the skirt fans out effortlessly. Light purple bow ribbons accenting the neck and ankles elevate the color layering against the white-and-blue background, keeping this white-and-purple gown from feeling one-dimensional.

The scene was pre-arranged by the photographer. Light blue drapes covered the floor, decorated with white Roman pillars, birdcage props, and floral accents matching my bouquet. Immersed in this cool-toned setting, softboxes emitted delightfully soft light, giving the imagery a translucent quality. During the shoot, I tested various poses; for the series reclining against the edge of a white pedestal box, the photographer captured a relaxed, languid posture that perfectly conveyed the heavenly aura of this outfit.

Shooting this set was physically demanding. Given the massive skirt volume combined with high heels, balancing body weight while maintaining a relaxed expression was quite a challenge. Specifically, for the shot sitting on the floor lifting the skirt hem, balancing waistline contours with visual leg extension took multiple iterations to hit the sweet spot. Fortunately, the photographer offered superb guidance, helping me ease into a confident, effortless groove.

For 2D fanwork creations, I believe it's not just about replicating the character's physical appearance, but more importantly, bringing out their unique aura through facial expression and environmental synergy. For this "Ode Among Flowers" series, I softened facial contours to minimize sharp angles and created subtle eye contact with the lens. Post-processing preserved skin texture and sheer fabric translucency, avoiding excessive sharpening or airbrushing to prevent an artificial mask-like look.

It was an extraordinarily complete creative experience. From styling design and makeup tweaks to set construction and lighting, every step of preparation helped me dive fully into character during the shoot. Among the final photos, I particularly adore the seated pose holding the bouquet—the shimmering skirt border paired with natural hand placement perfectly highlights that beautiful vibe of Elysia in my heart. I hope this meticulously prepared Elysia Cosplay set conveys our sincerity for fan creations, and that you can feel the dreamy romance unique to "Ode Among Flowers" in Honkai Impact 3rd!
