Jinan Huanying Anime Convention photos and TFP recruitment are released simultaneously.
The main body is the nine-grid real shoot included in Image 1, and swiping left shows the reference official art of these two sets of Amiya. This time, I prepared two stylings at Jinan Huanying: the first day is Lord Amiya, and the second day is original outfit Amiya. However, due to props and venue reasons, today I will mainly share the photos from the convention and the upcoming TFP plan.
I am a cosplayer who has been active locally in Jinan for a long time, and recently I have been thinking about how to upgrade the quality of convention photos to a higher level. Having the opportunity to present Amiya at Jinan Huanying this time is also a challenge for me.
The IPs I usually cosplay are quite diverse, ranging from Arknights, Nikke, Blue Archive, Azur Lane, to Honkai: Star Rail and various Galgames. Since I have cosplayed many characters, I am particularly sensitive to wig styling and costume tailoring. This time, I put a lot of effort into the details of Amiya's Lord form black distressed style dress and her original winter coat.
Those who have cosplayed with me or accompanied me at conventions should know that I am actually quite meticulous. When I said 'as long as we get great photos, I don't mind rigorous training to lock down the quality' in the post description, I absolutely meant it. I value the layering of light and shadow and the tension of composition; I dislike the kind of post-processing that simply applies a one-click filter and harshly pulls up the sharpness. Therefore, coming to Jinan Huanying this time, I also want to meet more photographers who share my obsession with image quality. Whether it is the choice of camera positions during the shoot or post-color grading, I hope to fully participate so that we can have effective co-creation.
The poses and frames shown in Image 1, such as the sitting pose holding a firearm prop or the standing pose wearing black stockings and high heels, were actually repeatedly adjusted by me and the photographers I worked with before. Getting great photos is often not just about a cosplayer standing there and having the shutter clicked; it requires coordinating the position of the props, the center of gravity of the character, and the guidance of the catchlight.
The atmosphere at the Jinan Anime Convention has been very good this year, so besides this Huanying convention, I am also looking for a long-term TFP partner. It doesn't have to be a very grand venue, as long as your post-processing capabilities or ideas can match mine. If you also cosplay these IPs or have a deep understanding of these games' worldviews, I think our communication costs will be extremely low.
I carry quite a few props when going out, such as the original Amiya scarf and coat, and the Lord form's distressed skirt hem and headpieces. Traveling to and from the venue is always a heavy physical task. If a local photographer in Jinan is willing to share some carrying duties or help adjust details against the mirror, the photo quality will definitely double. I have always felt that doing cosplay is about materializing beloved characters in a high-quality visual form, rather than just wandering around the convention aimlessly in the 2D circle.
Regarding the post-processing part, I also keep an open mind. If the photographer is skilled at color grading and atmosphere creation, I can handle the costumes and expressiveness; if the photographer is slightly weaker in post-processing, I can also utilize my accumulated Photoshop skills to patch up light, shadow, and flaws. Complementing each other's strengths is the true meaning of TFP.
Lastly, whether you are a local friend in Jinan or a peer planning to visit Jinan Huanying Anime Convention, as long as you have a creative desire for Arknights or the character Amiya, feel free to contact me. We can list the compositions we want to shoot in advance, and even plan small-team or dual-character interaction frames.
No more words to waste; I mainly want to clearly express my sincerity in finding a TFP photographer. Interested masters can just bring your equipment to schedule a time. Looking forward to sparking beautiful frames with everyone at Jinan Huanying or offline shooting scenes.
