This photography project revolved around the four themes of Wind, Flowers, Snow, and Moon, perfectly fitting the Arknights Creators Support Plan. To present these styling looks in their best effect, a long time was spent in early preparations. From pattern making for the costumes to polishing the props, and down to makeup and fitting tests, every step was meticulously detailed. For the first set, the dark Chinese style, to match the calligraphy tulle banners fluttering in the wind along the corridor, I deliberately paired it with black stockings and leather boots. The weighting of that long sword actually required a bit of technique; the actions of lifting a single leg and half-squatting really tested core strength. The direct sunlight during that outdoor shoot required us to repeatedly adjust the reflector's angle to avoid harsh dark shadows on the face, making the highlights on the face and legs more natural. For the second set in the cherry blossom grove, the costume had a strong sense of layering and easily got messy with the slightest movement. The antler and animal ear props were prone to loosening in the strong outdoor wind, so I hid a dozen invisible clips in my hair to secure them. The light under the cherry blossom trees was prone to dappling, so the photographer used a wide aperture to soften the background, and the purple contact lenses and platinum wig formed a strong color contrast against the pink sea of flowers. The third set, the snow shoot, was the most challenging; wearing this cape at sub-zero temperatures was still very cold. To hold that metal cup steadily, I wore invisible gloves for warmth. The reflection in the snow was extremely strong, easily making people look flat in photos, so we chose backlighting plus front fill lighting to highlight the contrast between the blue apparel and the golden totems. The fluffy tail and animal ears indeed provided a tiny bit of warmth in the cold. The fourth set, the studio moonlight illusion, actually took a lot of thought with that huge glowing moon and white flower branch arrangement. The deep-V tailoring required precise lighting, with the main light hitting the collarbones and the lace edges of the outfit, while the background maintained a deep blue tone, and the white feather headpiece appeared even lighter under the rim light. The placement of the oiled paper umbrella and pearl necklace was also carefully composed. These four themes represent completely different visual styles, from the tension of movements to the restraint of emotions, all trying our best to restore the atmosphere of the character settings.
