[Amiya cosplay] Arknights Amiya's Summer Straw hat outfit Headcanon Look - Image 1

Getting straight to the point: today I'm sharing a casual cosplay look for Amiya from Arknights. Instead of standard official attire, I put together a very summery ensemble featuring a pink plaid puff-sleeve top and a woven straw hat. Taking a Mirror selfie with a phone covered in cute cartoon stickers while wearing a bright blue velvet choker, I aimed to cultivate a lighthearted, everyday leisure vibe. As this post comes with apologies for non-canon liberties and heavy retouching, let's start with the hair and makeup rationale.

First up is the wig. Because Amiya's hair silhouette is highly recognizable, I chose long straight dark brown hair, trimming dense blunt bangs alongside framed side tendrils and styling with hair pomade to keep the strands looking fluffy and organic. Even though the straw hat concealed most of the crown's contour, I still paid close attention to the drape of the hair, letting the straight locks cascade naturally over both shoulders.

Makeup was the core highlight this time. To mirror Amiya's blue eyes, I wore high-saturation bright Blue colored contact lenses, framing the eye sockets with deep shadow blending, segmented false eyelashes, and winged liner to enlarge the eyes. The lower lids were contoured with an aegyo sal highlight, accented with a signature teardrop beauty mark under the right eye. The base makeup pursued a lightweight, breathable finish, paired with peach lip tint to lend the overall face a sweeter touch.

Next came the costume and prop coordination. The pink-and-white checkered shirt features puff sleeves and frilled collar trimming, adorned at the chest with a soft blue bow. Echoing the hair accents, a sheer light blue ribbon was tied around the straw hat, which together with the blue choker harmonized the entire palette in soft blue and pink tones. The adorable stickers on the phone case were chosen deliberately to inject a relatable touch of everyday life into the shot.

Regarding shooting and post-processing, a Mirror selfie requires ample lighting; using indoor fill lights bounced off white walls kept the face free of harsh shadows, while thoroughly wiping down the mirror prevented dust spots. The heavy post-processing aimed to tweak skin textures and lighting toward an anime-inspired aesthetic, though I preserved the foundational features of my facial structure. As an amateur cosplayer, stepping into every character is a learning curve and experiment. I understand this styling isn't strictly canon-accurate, but I wanted to express Amiya's lively, adorable side through everyday casual fashion. Looking forward to chatting about styling tips and improving together!
