[Arknights] Momoka Hanyuu cosplay Sighting: BW Convention photo Pretending I Made It to the Carnival

Missing out on attending the Hypergryph Carnival in person, I had to use this Arknights cheer outfit Convention photo shoot taken at Bilibili World (BW) to pretend I made it there too! The photographer for this shoot was Clover, also widely known as Teacher Dunai Zui (毒奶嘴). Over half a month later, we finally finished retouching the full set.

This red-and-black plaid dress has great texture; paired with a brown oversized bow hair accessory and accentuated by White stockings and black dress shoes, it makes the legs look slender and elongated. Under the complex lighting at BW, red garments easily blow out, so a lot of effort went into post-processing color grading to restore the subtle weave textures and fabric sheen. The red plaid fabric also features many sewn details: the red bow on the chest, the choker at the neckline, and the gold chain at the waist look very exquisite up close.

Because the venue was overcrowded with a messy background during the shoot, we had to rely primarily on the photographer's shallow depth of field to blur the background and make the subject pop. To match the lively energy of this outfit, I posed with one-legged standing stances and peace signs several times to enrich the frame, repeatedly refining the direction of my leg lines. The fabric of the White stockings reflected light noticeably under illumination; in post-production, shadows were slightly brightened to avoid looking harsh. The black leather shoes were very glossy, creating a sharp contrast against the white stockings.

Wearing the wig for a while caused the crown to flatten slightly, but with some length in the back, swinging it during the shoot created a wind-swept, delightfully messy motion that turned out unexpectedly well on camera. After completing the full-body standing poses, I was genuinely a bit tired, so we switched to seated and half-body angles, mainly focusing on capturing eye contact and shoulder movement. Overall, though I couldn't attend the Hypergryph Carnival, this cheer outfit and the convention atmosphere fulfilled at least half of that wish.
