[M3 cosplay] Black and Green Tactical Style Outfit, Tactical Texture Built by Detailed Accessories

This outfit took a whole hour of tossing and turning to get fully organized. Looking at the result in the mirror, I actually gained a more intuitive understanding of M3's character setting from Arknights materialized in 3D. Aside from saying that this set from Shuaichen's shop is decent and middle-of-the-road, I want to talk more about its handle on details and the actual feeling of wearing it.

Material-wise, that black long coat has an excellent drape, and the fabric has a subtle velvet reflective effect. When draped over the shoulders, the sense of weight instantly props up the character's signature oppression. The bright green lining on the inside of the coat is a major highlight, creating a sharp contrast with the black when it opens and closes; this color impact is particularly noticeable in the mirror. To restore that techwear style combining research and tactics, the metallic collar at the neckline paired with white soft tubes and blue connectors took quite a bit of my effort to fix, but as long as the angle is set right, the sci-fi atmosphere is instantly pushed to the max.

The green miniskirt on the lower body is paired with thigh straps. Although I'm not wearing stockings, the bare legs combined with the restraint of the black leather cords and the oversized coat actually brings out a sharp and cool feeling visually, mixing in a wasteland-style sexiness. The black leather belt extending down from the neck and that metal chain with a small red face badge are highly distinct decorations among the body's color blocks, adding a lively fun to the black and green color scheme dominant tone.

The green jagged horn accessories on top of the head and the long black-and-green highlighted wig are also key focus areas. The wig has a great sense of styling in the mirror. Although it takes time to brush smoothly, the exact moment it's put on immediately switches me into the character state. The patchwork and stitching of the entire garment are solid, but because there are many straps and buckles, putting it on and taking it off is indeed not easy, especially the waist belt, which needs to be tightened layer by layer to show off the figure.

For getting good photos, because the coat cuffs are wide, I tried many poses in front of the mirror and found that slightly exposing a single side of the shoulder or doing a crossed-arms gesture allows the coat hem to drape naturally, which beautifully modifies the figure. This outfit hits about a 7 to 8 out of 10 in terms of restoration accuracy, and its practicality passes the test, making it highly suitable as a general ACG style casual wear or for hitting the streets at a convention. Although the organization process was tedious, the black and green tactical visual effect after wearing makes one feel that this one hour was indeed well spent. It serves as a great reference option to share with fellow friends who are also trying out different styles of cosplay outfit.
