Standing in front of the mirror wearing this outfit, holding the heavy staff in hand, I unconsciously adjusted the camera angle. This time I tried Frieren's classic look, combining it with a Mirror selfie approach, which happens to showcase the full-body outfit and atmospheric feel simultaneously.
The costume has many details: a white-based battle outfit trimmed with delicate gold edging and cuffs, with the black-and-white striped design on the chest serving as a memorable feature, complemented by a wide black belt that nicely accents the waistline. The wig used this time is long silver-white hair paired with an Elf ear style; after putting them on, my entire presence immediately shifted. For the lower half, I paired it with black tights, which is a part of this character's design I really love—the contrast between black tights and the white-and-gold skirt creates a striking visual contrast, not only slimming but also balancing the visual gravity of the overall look.
Finding suitable poses with this long staff during the shoot required considerable thought. In the first picture, standing straight while holding the staff with one hand nicely displays the proportion between my body and the staff. However, my personal favorite is the sitting pose on the chair in Picture 2. The chair itself is very simple; against the white carpet and pure white chair, the lines of the black tights stand out even more. Adding a slight leg-cross posture conveys a light feel while exuding an effortless elegance. Picture 3 shows another angle of the sitting posture, holding the staff with both hands, capturing a relatively quiet and dignified feel.
The indoor setting is my own small room; the air conditioner cover with a green cartoon face behind me and the plush doll cabinet next to it give the frame a touch of everyday life warmth. After applying fill light, the overall illumination was soft, making skin tones and clothing textures look very refined, and I was very pleased with the unedited mobile phone output. The red gem at the top of the staff and the gold trim at the bottom were also highlights in execution.
From preparation to producing the final shots, although putting on and taking off this gear was somewhat tedious, capturing the character's spirit in front of the camera made the process itself immensely fun. The black tights pairing not only looks leg-lengthening but also fits the visual style of the original design, allowing movements to feel more natural and relaxed.
