Today, I rode a leading-drive electric vehicle to net fishing to team up and game; this Clover cosplay costume was remarkably eye-catching in the gaming area. Arriving at net fishing, I directly found a gaming chair and sat down. Today I cosplayed as Clover: for the makeup, I deliberately dotted plenty of freckles, wore blue colored contacts, and styled the trimmed wig with silver hairclips and little horns clipped onto both sides. The color-blocked pink and purple jacket, accented with yellow zippers and blue drawstrings, offers a great layered look when worn. I didn't wear gloves, but did black-and-blue contrasting nail art and stacked several black rings, typing away on the keyboard with quite a rhythmic feel.
I first played a few matches of VALORANT, picking Clover—casting abilities, coordinating with teammates to push onto sites, and clutching a few rounds, feeling in pretty good form. Even though I was in makeup and a wig, slipping on this purple-and-black gaming headset provided great noise isolation, letting me become completely immersed in the game. After several matches, I switched over with friends to League of Legends for a few rounds of ARAM; the vibrant colors of this jacket looked surprisingly fitting in front of the monitor. Usually, gaming while in cosplay is rather rare, mainly due to worries that the wig might get messy or the makeup might smudge. However, the seating at net fishing is quite spacious without rubbing against adjacent walls or chairbacks, letting me comfortably operate from my seat.
The environment here at net fishing is quite comfortable; the chair backrest is plush, and the keyboard and mouse are responsive. Along the way, passersby recognized me as Clover and asked if they could take a couple of photos; I tidied my wig, adjusted the clips, and posed for a few shots. Honestly, this outfit felt a bit warm inside an internet cafe, but I stuck it out for the visual effect. The first selfie was snapped casually by the entrance, where the purple neon sign and green wall behind me provided contrasting backdrop colors that made my jacket stand out even more. The second photo was candidly captured by a friend while I was gaming—wearing the over-ear headset and looking at the screen in profile, looking quite natural.
Heading out on a leading-drive electric vehicle was super convenient—no hunting for parking spaces, just parking right at the storefront. The electric vehicle accelerates briskly off the line, and once the helmet was on, there was no need to worry about the wig getting wind-blown. The overall experience today was wearing the clothes I love, playing games I love, and soaking in the esports atmosphere at net fishing. If I have time later on, I might study more accessory details for Clover and refine the makeup further, continuing with this look for the next team session. In fact, every time I game in cosplay, the happiest part is blending the character into everyday settings rather than being confined to conventions or photography studios. Combining daily leisure with character dressing makes me feel more relaxed and lets me meet friends who share the same gaming passion. During our team session, everyone was also very considerate of my styling, chatting about in-game tactics and skins in between matches.
Before heading out today, I spent over an hour doing my makeup and hair. I chose vibrant blue contacts that, combined with the eye makeup, made my eyes look lively and expressive. Because Clover as a character embodies both a nonchalant ease and agile sharpness, I strove to showcase that layered richness in the costume styling. The purple sleeves spliced with the pink bodice, the large white lapels, plus a black inner undershirt create high contrast across the color palette. The black rings worn on my fingers were also meant to capture the character's subtly edgy, cool details. Honestly, styling the wig took quite a bit of time—generously applying pomade and hairspray before those horn-shaped decorations and hairclips stayed firmly anchored to my head for this Clover cosplay.
