[Nahida Cosplay] Fresh School Routine in a White Studio

The official Genshin Impact Nahida Cosplay photos shot at Kasumi Studio this time have finally been retouched. I have always preferred this kind of pure white background studio because the clean lighting allows the details of the character itself to be displayed to the greatest extent. During the early preparations, we specially designed the overall visual presentation around the two core colors of white and green.

First, let's talk about the head styling. The wig worn this time is a patchwork style of silver-white and grass-green. The hair strands have a natural luster under the studio lamps, making the layers look very rich. To make the wig look voluminous without being messy, a lot of time was spent combing the direction of the hair strands before the shoot. The elf ear props near the ears were chosen in a silicone material close to the skin tone, which fits very well after being worn, beautifully adding a three-dimensional touch to both sides of the cheeks from a frontal view.

For the clothing part, I chose a white collared short-sleeved Polo shirt with a light mint green neckline. This kind of loose fit perfectly matches the everyday, school style cosplay vibe I wanted to present. The cartoon print on the chest and the white lines on the sleeves serve as perfect accents on the white base color. The bottom also features white-and-green shorts, completed into a White thigh-highs outfit with a pair of pure white stockings. This not only ensures the color consistency of the entire look, but the inherent translucency of the white stockings also prevents the leg lines from looking dull against the pure white background, adding a light, breathing quality instead. Furthermore, the visual whitespace created by the white socks in the frame effectively elongates the leg proportions, making the whole body look more slender.

As for the auxiliary props, we made full use of a set of school desks and chairs on site. For the first set of poses, I chose to sit sideways on the edge of the desktop, with both arms naturally opening up and propped on the desk board. This movement looks very simple, but it actually requires controlling the exertion of the shoulders, keeping the entire upper body straight while slightly applying force at the waist to lean back, allowing the legs wrapped in white socks to present a naturally extended state visually.

The second set of poses utilized book props. Holding up a green hardcover book with both hands, making a sun-shading action at the top of the head, and the body tilting slightly to the right accordingly. This action effectively broke the stiffness of a single sitting posture, giving the frame a sense of motion. The color of the green book happened to echo the green at the hair ends, making the color composition of the entire picture very harmonious.

Let's talk about the shooting experience at Kasumi Studio. The photographer @九九九是月 is very skilled at capturing the inner charm in a white studio through eye contact and movement guidance. Since the lighting in the white studio is relatively even, we placed our focus on the relaxation of expressions and body language. Without overly complex scene setups, it instead allowed people to focus more on the character's state itself. When trying different sitting poses, the photographer also corrected the excessive tension that easily occurred when I sat up straight in a timely manner, allowing the final frozen frames to exude an effortless casualness.

The overall style this time goes down a fresh route, aiming to combine the inherent vitality of the character Nahida with a school athletic style. Dispensing with gorgeous special effects and complex backgrounds, it only keeps the most direct clothing, wig, and props, using the simplest method to transmit the unique purity of the character. When looking at the retouched photos together, the white-and-green color scheme indeed brings a great visual cooling effect, making the entire set of pictures clean and memorable. Even in such a simple studio shoot environment, as long as the light and angles are caught accurately, the details of the styling can be presented very well.
