[Nero Cosplay] Fate/Grand Order Nero pajamas and the pure white interpretation of the Flower of the Olympics - Image 1

The core of this Nero pajamas matching lies in the balance between the draping feel of the fabric and the backless tailoring. Chiffon material with a slight see-through luster was selected, presenting a natural wave curve in the skirt hem when walking. The deep V at the back goes all the way down to the waistline. To maintain overall visual cleanliness, there is no excessive complex tailoring; instead, a wide golden belt on the side of the waist provides visual tightening, which is also a highly recognizable accessory in Nero's costume. The golden annular decorations on the wrists echo the belt, enhancing the overall color layering. Since the setting is pajamas, it was ultimately decided to shoot barefoot, making the overall atmosphere fit the theme better.

In terms of the wig, Nero's iconic short blonde hair requires sufficient airiness. After basic trimming, a curling iron was used to create an outward-flipping curve at the hair ends, and the bangs were section-set to ensure that the strands naturally cover part of the side face when turning back sideways, creating a lazy yet slightly sharp visual effect. The makeup focus was placed on the red eyes and the elongation of the outer corners of the eyes; the base makeup was kept relatively thin, retaining the skin's texture. A soft red was chosen for the lips without sharp lip lines, making the overall makeup look more homely and casual. The entire makeup, matched with the golden main tone, can present a translucent three-dimensional sense under highlights.

For lighting, this time the concept of high-key photography was used. A pure white seamless background combined with a large-area main light source from the front minimizes the shadows of the overall environment, giving the image an ethereal feeling with its own soft light. The exposure compensation was increased by one stop to make the overall image brighter, which better highlights the fairness of the skin and the purity of the clothing. A medium-to-long telephoto lens was selected to slightly compress the space, concentrating the visual focus on the back tailoring and the demeanor of turning back the face. Since the clothing is deeply backless, shooting angles intentionally avoided some easily exposed angles, utilizing mostly rear-side and direct-rear camera positions, using overlapping hand postures to guide the line of sight, showcasing the innate confidence and noble temperament from the character setting, while retaining the relaxation that the pajama concept should have.

In terms of action expression, the concept of the Flower of the Olympics gave me a lot of inspiration. I didn't make particularly large movements, but instead chose to keep my hands behind my back, maintaining a relatively static posture, using the slight undulation of the shoulder blades and the neck line to convey a sense of power. The gaze needed to be handled with a bit of detachment yet not overly sharp; this subtle balance required repeated adjustments based on the photographer's feedback. For the character Nero, I've always felt she has an extremely flamboyant personality, but when wearing a relatively soft item like pajamas, I wanted more to express the self-confident and unwavering control she still maintains after letting down her guard. Throughout the shooting process, the lighting angle was repeatedly adjusted to find the best presentation point among the clothing wrinkles and backless lines. The color tone and tailoring of this set of photos are relatively restrained, without complex post-production special effects, with main energy focused on the light and shadow texture and skin texture restoration. Judging from the final effect, the high-key atmosphere indeed magnified the sacred sense brought by the white long dress, and also perfectly matched the design original intention of this styling, which can be regarded as grounding the originally flat character art texture into a very rewarding three-dimensional visual practice.
