When shooting this set of photos, my state of mind was actually extremely relaxed. I didn't intentionally strike any big poses; it was just like my usual time in a favorite corner of a bookstore—casually flipping through pages, drinking a cup of lemon tea, or leaning on the table zoning out. The photographer really understood the sense of naturalness I wanted and didn't make the lighting feel forced. Instead, by utilizing the sidelight from the window, both the texture of the sweater outfit and the layers of the hair were beautifully captured. For the makeup, I deliberately emphasized a faint reddish vibe under the eyes this time. Paired with this short purple hair cosplay look and a white ruffle-collar blouse, it made the whole appearance look much softer. During the shoot, I was truly enjoying this quiet space; the wooden bookshelves, the scent of paper, and that little slice of cake all brought a sense of warmth to the entire scene. Actually, cosplay doesn't always require grand settings or complex special effects. A slice-of-life daily feel like this is instead better at conveying the character's tranquil temperament. I really love this undisturbed afternoon rhythm, and I hope you can also feel that quiet and comfortable atmosphere from the photos through this bookstore photography project.
