[Pardofelis cosplay] Honkai Impact 3rd: Daily Shift at the Cat café on Sundown Alley

The core theme of this photoshoot was portraying Pardofelis working part-time at a Cat café on Sundown Alley after her rebirth. To ensure optimal visual results, extensive effort went into the costume, hair, makeup, and props. The golden braided wig, paired with a semi-transparent pink sun visor and white ruffled trim, sculpted a very three-dimensional head silhouette. For contacts, I chose heterochromatic blue and green lenses, which, combined with the Cat ears headpiece, aligned perfectly with the character's design.

The costume consists of a black, white, and pink dress accented with a neckline bow and gold thread embroidery, while the large ruffled cuffs made my arms appear more slender. For the legs, I wore White stockings with red stripes, paired with black ribbon leather shoes. Because the shoot required sitting for long stretches interacting with the cats, this short skirt and White stockings combination nicely flattered the lines of my legs while evoking the nimble, lively nature of a cat.

Choosing a Cat café as the shooting location meant the biggest hurdle was managing feline behavior. Initially, I worried they might be spooked by the wig and dramatic eye makeup, but they turned out to be far more interested in snacks. Especially in the first photo, a long-haired cat with grey-and-white markings caught the scent of treats and stood straight up to paw at my knees; to capture its lively begging expression, I guided it several times with the snack container. The white cat cradled in my arms and the tabby on my lap were exceptionally docile, purring when held and completely unfazed by the camera since they are so used to café life.

Wearing White stockings with a short skirt made shedding another distinct challenge at the Cat café. Armed with a large lint roller, I had to clean white fur off my legs almost after every single shot, yet being surrounded by cats felt remarkably true to the character's persona. Feeding treats and sitting together on the floor allowed these interactions to be snapped within an entirely organic atmosphere, while light catching the transparent visor rim added depth and texture. Although the shoot was long, time flew while surrounded by cats, leaving this set with that relaxed feeling of everyday life on Sundown Alley. The entire series aimed to capture the character's authentic everyday vitality within a genuine Cat café environment, relying on thorough pre-shoot styling and the cats' natural cooperation rather than heavy post-processing.
