Changing into this outfit dominated by deep blue and pure white, styling the curls of the blonde hair, and pinning on that emerald gemstone brooch, today's cosplay photoshoot officially begins.

Standing on the wooden pier carrying the suitcase and that blue parasol with ruffles along the edge, I can clearly feel the importance of prop textures to character interpretation. Especially that vintage metal lantern; the moment the light inside the glass globe lit up, it felt as if the surrounding water surface quieted down along with it. The location for this shoot was chosen at a lakeside in the suburbs, and the photographer WiFi's grasp of natural light was incredibly precise. At dusk, the sky presented a warm pinkish-blue hue, and the skyline of distant high-rises was blurred into silhouettes by the mist. Coupled with this soft light carrying a slight cool tone, it perfectly matched the character's own warm yet slightly aloof baseline.

We also encountered some practical challenges during the shoot. A breeze blew from the lakeside from time to time, making it easy for the pleats of the skirt and the tips of the golden hair to get disheveled. To maintain a sense of visual stability in the frame, we constantly adjusted our standing and sitting postures to contend with the wind. In a few shots where I sat on the wooden deck looking down at the letter in my hands, the lake water reflected a deep blue-green with the refraction of light; at that moment, I felt immense peace in my heart. As for the snapshot of handing out the letter, I deliberately controlled my expression, trying to convey a balance of "waiting" and "firmness." Certain emotions don't necessarily have to be expressed through exaggerated words; subtle body movements and changes in gaze instead reveal the softness within the character's heart even better.

From a photography perspective, we mainly used a mid-to-long telephoto lens to capture the view on the pier this time. The shallow depth-of-field blur brought by the large aperture successfully stripped away the slightly complex city buildings in the background, firmly locking the visual focus on the character's silhouette, the bronze buttons on the deep blue coat, and that vibrant red long scarf. The tailoring of this costume is very distinctive, with the white ruffles at the waist and cuffs combining to form a rich sense of layers. Although carrying the suitcase, umbrella, and letters restricted my movements, it is precisely these items steeped in a sense of story that allowed the character in the frame to no longer be a simple display of styling, but rather possess her own travel narrative.

When organizing the finished photos and looking at the reflection of the water surface and the texture of the wood in the frame, I feel that insisting on selecting this venue that combines both natural landscapes and urban backgrounds in the early stages was completely correct. Every click of the shutter is actually a reinterpretation of this character's core personality traits. I hope everyone can feel that peace through these lights and shadows.
