At 3:30 in the morning, I was still coordinating makeup with the makeup artist, and at 4:00 I rushed to Chongqing North to catch the bullet train, wearing colored contacts the whole way without closing my eyes, and only remembered to touch up my makeup with a puff when I got on Wuhan Metro Line 2. This spur-of-the-moment Wuhan THO commando-style trip was really risking my life. The round-trip travel expenses were over 800 yuan, coming and going on the same day, and I even unlocked the achievement of pulling an all-nighter on the bullet train. Originally, Chongqing's dreamland felt a bit boring, and seeing everyone on my list go to Wuhan, I struggled for a long time before finally making up my mind to make this trip.
Arriving at the exhibition hall at noon, my first impression was that although the venue is a bit old, it is really big, more spacious than Xiamen THO and Fuzhou Milu that I went to before, enough to wander around for a long time. Because I arrived late, as soon as I entered, I quickly started the finding-people mode to catch the Touhou fans I met in Fujian before. Although I couldn't contact Lufeng and Luofei at first, they ended up fishing me out in the end, and by the way, I also completed an offline meeting with Bilibili fans. Unexpectedly, I found out that Laoshen and Muhua actually knew each other, and the three of them successfully formed a Baotou-breaking group.
Coming too hastily this time, I didn't even bring my own freebies, and sent them all off for consignment. The freebies everyone exchanged were really nice, especially Alice and the little frog Suwako; as for Kaguya's freebies, they could all just go aside. Because I didn't take the initiative to collect stamps, and arrived in the afternoon, missing the first half, this time I only received less than 10 Convention photos and added friends. As a shy and slightly abstract little girl, online everyone is heavily photoshopped, but offline I can only be timid and submissive. Anyway, the harvest this trip was still huge; I met many group friends, and thanks everyone for treating me to fruit tea and snacks when I was walking alone.
Speaking of this Houraisan Kaguya cosplay, the pink-and-white lace top is paired with a red embroidered skirt, plus White stockings and black Mary Jane shoes, and holding a branch prop in hand. Although this outfit is pretty, walking in it for a whole day really requires physical strength, and there was no suitable rest area in the convention, so I could only squat slightly in a corner. Although sometimes I self-deprecatingly call myself a minor Photoshop monster, being able to cosplay a character I love is still very happy. Wuhan's subway is really too huge, it made me feel like my paronychia was about to flare up from walking. I will continue to support Touhou Project in the future, see you next year!
