This Citlali pajama outfit had actually been sitting in my wardrobe for a while, and I finally got around to shooting it during a studio session. For makeup, I chose purple geometric accents around the eyes to echo the character's mysterious charm, paired with light-blue contact lenses. Once the wig was fluffed up and topped with that white eye-mask-style headpiece featuring purple ruffles and circular patterns, the anime aesthetic came together immediately.

The outfit is packed with intricate details: an asymmetrical top featuring white ruffles, delicate gold shoulder straps, and a large deep-blue bow adorned with a blue gemstone. On my arms, I wore blue-to-purple gradient fingerless gloves paired with sleeves bearing complex geometric prints. The lower half features white leg warmers trimmed with purple lace, and even the shoes were carefully selected chunky platforms decorated with pink crosses and diamonds. To capture that languid, loungewear mood, the photographer suggested I recline directly on a giant white pillow over fabric printed with bold blue geometric lines, set against a pink-purple gradient backdrop that instantly elevated the atmosphere.

The studio lighting was kept gentle and soft. For the first set of poses, I lay prone on the pillow with my eyes closed, resting one hand beside my cheek and kicking my legs up behind me, kicking my shoes off to the side. Since my post mentioned evolving into an all-nighter machine sleeping only three hours a day, I was practically taking a quick nap to the sound of the shutter clicks while posing eyes-shut. The photographer later mentioned that adding a sleeping emoji would be fun, perfectly complementing my slightly parted lips to look as though I had genuinely drifted off.

For the second seated shot, I went for a half-lidded, drowsy gaze. With one leg bent and the other stretched forward with pointed toes, one hand propped up my head while the other rested on the pillow, revealing a lazy, daydreamy look. To make the leg contours pop on camera, we tweaked the angle of the leg warmers and pose several times, engaging the ankles slightly to form a flattering curve. Leaving the discarded shoes casually tossed nearby added an authentic touch of everyday relaxation.

Even though I felt exhausted during the shoot, seeing the finished frames made every late night feel worthwhile. Conveying a character's relaxed essence in pajamas doesn't require dramatic posing—just leaning into that real, everyday desire to stay in bed and refuse to get up. Without relying on complex visual effects, the set was carried entirely by soft natural lighting and atmospheric staging. That's all for this share; now that this shoot is wrapped, I'm heading straight back for a well-deserved, long sleep.
