This shoot features the maid look for Sunna from Zenless Zone Zero. The overall styling concept unfolded around everyday languor and playful charm from the start. When I got the wig, the light golden shade was softer than expected; handling such fluffy locks took extra care, using setting spray to ensure every strand maintained proper curvature without appearing stiff.

Let's talk about costume details. The black-and-white color-blocked Maid outfit serves as the basic framework, but what caught my eye most were the ruffled cuffs and collar made from structured cotton blend fabric that holds pleated 3D depth while naturally draping. The red necktie instantly lights up the whole ensemble, with white prints at the tip serving as a subtle accent boosting recognition. The large golden bell around the neck is the soul of the look—gently swinging during the shoot produced a crisp sound, helping me naturally immerse into the character's mood through physical prop interaction as an Anime girl.

For makeup, I emphasized eye contours specifically. Wearing blue-green contact lenses paired with extensively blended pink eyeshadow, the lower eyelid was subtly exaggerated alongside black top and bottom lashes to create dynamic, playful eyes. Lip color featured a matte brick red to echo the red tie without being overpowering. The makeup focus was color balance: ensuring anime recognition while maintaining translucent, natural skin textures on camera.

In pose design, I chose a forward-leaning squatting posture. Clenching hands into fists before the chest like a cat stabilized gravity while maximally displaying the sleeve ruffles and letting the golden neck bell dangle naturally at the visual center. The photographer used softboxes for lighting, giving the wig a high-end texture free of frizz and making hair accessory sheen just right for Cosplay photography.

Dealing with light-colored hair, overexposure is the biggest fear, so I communicated with the photographer to adjust key light to ambient light ratios, ensuring the eyes under the bangs kept clear catchlights. The overall wear experience of this maid uniform was comfortable—unlike heavy armor or complex Lolita dresses that leave you breathless—allowing a relaxed state throughout the shoot.

Several small charms were very interesting: hidden in the hair ornaments on top were a white ghost figure and a green cartoon creature. Though subtle, these elements helped shape the character's overall vibe. During photos, I intentionally kept a hint of a smile in my gaze to give the visuals warmth. The overall color tone leaned bright with slightly reduced contrast for a creamy visual experience.

As a player, receiving this costume gave me a strong sense of familiar warmth. After dressing up, I tried to find a relaxed daily state—capturing genuine moments is far more compelling than forced posing. From tie proportions and cuff pleats to wig curl angles, these finished details determine final restoration accuracy. This shoot made my understanding of Sunna much more concrete. Ultimately, the photos matched expectations, delivering the exact atmosphere I hoped to convey.
